I realized I never wrote a review! I visited in June and the crew was fantastic! Our group consisted of my group of four, a solo, and another group of four. The instructors were informative, super nice, and best of all: adventurous. They allowed us to gain our footing on the first line before showing us some tricks and encouraging us to follow suit. With their permission, we started to take off our own lines and it felt like it turned into just a bunch of friends ziplining! Definitely an experience I savor and would recommend. – via

– via

Best Guides ever. We a travel with a Cruise ship to Akurery and had booked the Zipline Adventure before on https://www.ziplineakureyri.is. It’s very easy to book the time slot and so on. Please be on time so that the tour can start punctually Otherwise you standing before closed doors. The Adventure ist easaly rich bei Bus No. A5 and A6 from the bus station Hjalteyrargata / Gránufélagsgata, in the right side after the cruise port exit. It’s a free of charge bus service. All others can Take a cab for 2200 ISK for one ride. – via

Driving into Akureyri intending to only charge my car and get groceries and then I saw a sign for zip lining.
Stephanie was helping other customers and invited me to join them last minute… how can I refuse?! The detour ended up being a highlight! Stephanie and her crew partner Behsa (sorry I’m getting the name wrong) are both adventurous and safe guides. They cater safety and give tips for the daredevils to do the dead man or upside-down! Super fun and great way to see the river and go for an easy hike! Highly recommended! – via

It’s a nice to do. It is just a zipline (5 in a row), do not expect any “tour” or “adventure” and so definitely too expensive for the experience also comparing other experiences you could have in iceland. The guides were nice but not really engaging… Actually the full group was a bit cold and not involved, but that’s just my feeling… also quicker then expected… – via

(Translated by Google) Fun experience with five amazing ziplines. There were very enthusiastic guides who even taught you nice tricks. The beautiful view over the fast flowing river topped it off. A top experience for the family! One of our group was ill and could not join the zipline, but we did get our money back for that person. Thank you 🙂

Dankjewel 🙂 – via
