Das ein checken ging schnell und das Equipment der Basis ist gut.
Der welcome dive am Hausriff von Nr. 6 bis zur Nr. 4 war mit 61 Minuten
und meinem Buddy entspannt mit etwas Strömung und sehr schön. Das Basis Team ist nett, fleißig und beantwortet jede aufkommende Frage. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit / TG auch wenn ich mehr machen wollte. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I have been to the Florida Keys,l, Australia, Caribbean…
This is the best dive store in the world. Most expertise! Inventory great…prices good. Julie runs a top notch place. Jim is very helpful and knowledgeable. Have not seen Lee around lately. Have purchased equipment for my daughter and her boyfriend there too. Great shop on Casco Bay. Right next to a must go-to restaurant Becky’s (noth’n finah dinah!)

Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und Hilfsbereit. Auch die Basis ist sauber und aufgeräumt.

That may be due to the new base line.. but in retrospect I’m glad that no diving accidents happened. This basis is completely unsuitable especially for beginners. During the check dive our guide disappeared after 10 minutes, we are both beginners and that is not possible. There were sometimes 13 people with a guide on the boat dives, and the equipment is also not in good condition. There are some new guides on the island who don’t know the diving spots at all. All in all, I didn’t feel I was in good hands at all. Air is also not checked. This may not be relevant for divers with 150+ dives but as a beginner it is. The house reef was also rather disappointing for both snorkeling and diving. Conclusion: I would neither recommend the diving center nor the island.

For me as a beginner (arrived with 14 dives) the base seemed to be well organized. Staff was great & international (shoutout to Desiree, Mateja, Beat & Markus!). The house reef was very beautiful and the boat trips were fun, too. I had a lot of fun and can’t wait to come back.

Extremely unprofessional staff! Booked resort dive for 2 and weren’t informed about cancellation policies. We wanted to cancel reservation due to injury, but were asked to pay full price. Also, they don’t provide participation certificate if you’re a first time diver (all you get is a sarcastic look and smile). Payment options are a joke: they accept US dollar for cash payment and credit card payments are charged in Euros. Open water certificate includes 6 dives, off which 5 are house reef dives which can’t justify the high asking price. IMO their only motive is to maximize profits. – via google

Centre Werner Lau de Filitheyo aux Maldives : un club de plongée avec des locaux spacieux, très bien organisé tout en restant décontracté, staff très sympa et serviable (Béné, Mika, Jérôme, Madita, Evelyn, Guy), du matériel en bon état. Plusieurs bateaux disponibles, avec répartition des plongeurs selon les niveaux. Deux plongées en bateau organisées tous les jours, matin et après-midi, plongées de nuit aussi, et plongée libre du bord sur le house reef avec plusieurs points d’entrée et sortie bien localisés. Nombreux sites possibles, de 5 à 40 minutes de bateau à partir du centre, où nous avons toujours été les seuls plongeurs. La plongée de nuit à la lumière bleue est une expérience à tenter. – via google
