Captain Paco is the MAN!! He was very knowledgeable, professional, and patient. He had a great knowledge of the waters in the area, and put us on the fish immediately. His boat was fully loaded and had plenty of drinks, bug spray, and sunscreen…
When the fish started biting he was on it and gave me clear instructions on what to do. I’d never caught a trophy Tarpon before, and he was very patient and helpful in landing my fish of a lifetime!
He told me how long the fight would last, the length and size, and exactly what direction to take in rod movement and when to reel. Even when I made rookie mistakes, he was patient and a great coach… After an hour and 18 minutes, I managed to bring the most gorgeous and majestic fish I’ve ever caught to the boat. He brought on board quickly and humanely. And staged pictures efficiently in order to get the fish back in the water as soon as possible…
Holding the Tarpon after such an EPIC battle, was truly a victory and an experience of a lifetime! Me and my wife were in Puerto Rico for our honeymoon, and this was definitely a wonderful way to cap it off…
I would highly recommend and suggest Captian Paco and peacock bass&tarpon tours! Such an amazing experience and truly a fantastic time. Thank you very much for everything, and we can’t wait to come back!! Viva la Puerto Rico ???? – via google

Great communication, easy booking, great boat, very knowledgeable guide, happy to answer questions our son asked. We quickly got a bite but it was lost before it could be caught, but he considered it caught referring to Florida’s release regs. We were surrounded by tarpon all day. Unfortunately he released the last minute fish we finally caught rather than brining it into the boat for the 1 glory shot. I suspect a limit may have been reached with the morning charter that caught a monster and others and they had photos already posted on his facebook page. This charter was a let down to our boys and we felt perplexed by the decision to not truly catch the fish and allow us to get one pic for the experience. Had we not caught any, we would have understood, it’s fishing. Just let him know up front you’d like the opportunity to get the fish on board for a photo. There is no anger on my end, just offering a review for other folks to consider when booking an experience. The response from guide might be something to consider as well. – via google

We had an amazing trip with Captain Paco! He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I highly recommend Peacock Bass and Tarpon Tours for any one experienced with fishing or not! I personally have been fishing twice in my life and Captain Paco coached me on reeling in a Tarpon and helped me hold it up for a picture, which was not something I thought I would do! All the boats around us were watching as we reeled in fish while they waited – captain Paco truly is the best! – via google

Pacu was great! He was very flexible with the crazy storms that week. He was right on time with already packed cooler and bait. That was a huge plus ! Pacu put my husband and I on fish quickly . Very knowledgeable guide and knows the water extremely well.
