During our stay at the Four Seasons Sayan, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our family’s comfort, especially for our little one. From the stuff animal and sash greeting, to making sure we have milk and diapers in the villa. Their attention to detail was exceptional, particularly in catering to our baby’s picky eating habits. The chefs took it upon themselves to prepare special baby food that not only met nutritional needs but also won over our baby’s taste buds. Furthermore, the level of hospitality didn’t stop there; we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a river side villa, enhancing our experience even more. Such gestures made our stay unforgettable, truly embodying the warmth and care that Four Seasons is known for.
The breakfast offerings at the Four Seasons Sayan were indeed delightful, featuring a variety of choices that catered to different tastes and dietary requirements. Each morning, we were greeted with freshly prepared dishes that boasted local flavors and high-quality ingredients, ensuring a delicious start to our day. However, I found myself wishing for a buffet option rather than the à la carte service. A buffet would have offered the opportunity to sample a wider array of dishes at our own pace, allowing us to better explore the rich culinary heritage of the region. Despite this, the exquisite quality and presentation of the breakfast dishes served undoubtedly highlighted the hotel’s commitment to excellence in dining.
Safety was clearly a top priority at the Four Seasons Sayan, evidenced by the thoughtful installation of a fence around the pool area. This precaution was particularly appreciated given our concerns for our baby’s safety around water. It allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful pool setting without constant worry. However, it is worth noting that the living area of our villa was exclusively outdoor. While this offered stunning views and an immersive natural experience, the lack of an indoor option meant that it could become uncomfortably hot during the day. – via

Bali has 2 Four Season hotels and the one at Sayan in Ubud is a resort built in the middle of dessert/jungle. When you get there, access to the resort is through a beautiful coloring wall. You can see the nature unfold before your eyes as soon as you get off the car. This is a jungle experience rather than a beach Bali experience. It’s away from the beach and city chaos and away in nature that is very relaxing. – via

Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at Four Seasons Tented Camp. From the moment we arrived by boat, we were greeted by Macall and incredible team.
With only 16 Tents at the resort, we were able to get to know each staff member personally and felt like an extended part of their family, even after only a 2 night stay.
The food and beverage program was top notch, and extremely customizable based on dietary preferences. Raye at the Burma Bar made excellent cocktails and showed us how to make several drinks during our Shake and Stir class, and the food at each meal was delicious.
There are no shortage of activities to fill your day. Norman took us on a wonderful tour of the beautiful Chiang Rai temples during our “Colors of Chiang Rai” tour and Ton was a great host for our My Elephant and I experience.
Elephants are the highlight at FS Golden Triangle, and having breakfast with them each morning made for a perfect start to our day.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our honeymoon, and are already looking forward to our next stay! – via

Pricy-but well worth it. The staff are incredible and make sure you don’t have to even think of planning anything. You will be well taken care of. From the moment we were picked up in Chiang Mai, I knew we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Took a cool boat ride to see the Golden Triangle and arrive in a fun way. Nice to spend time with the elephants and see the local temples. I fell asleep during the massage it was that good. The tent was also very comfortable with climate control! I have been on safari as stayed in a lot of different tented camps- let me tell you this is a nice one. Food is also delicious. Plan to come here at least once in your life. – via

A good interaction with an elephant is ZERO interaction: stop promoting this type of experience please, even if it brings you good money. Because when you say “direct interaction with wild animals”, you says “danger for the visitor”. To avoid this danger, a distance or barrier is needed. If there is none, it is because the animals are closely followed by a trainer who will inflict a “punishment” in the event of “bad behavior”, to ensure the “safety” of the visitor. This is your case with the mahout that accompanies the elephant in its interactions with visitors. – via
