This is by far one of our favorite activities we’ve done. So much so we did it twice and wouldn’t hesitate to go again. Carlos and crew are professional and experienced and make everything so much fun. Every safety measure is taken and a thorough instruction happens prior to dropping in on your first waterfall. This activity needs to be on everyone’s to do list when they visit the Southern Zone of Costa Rica. The staff was super friendly, prioritized safety, and overall exceeded our group’s expectations. The waterfalls and canyon were far more stunning than you see in the pictures. 5 stars all around, family friendly, and not to mention this activity is very affordably priced. – via

What a super awesome mega cool experience! It was my family and i’s first time repelling/canyoning. Carlos and his brother were our guides and made safest and fun the trips priorities. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area! Carlos took awesome pictures! Make sure when going that you don’t bring anything that wouldn’t want to break. No phones, smart watches, or jewelry. If you wear glasses I would recommend wearing contacts. They also serve cookies and pineapple at the end of the tour – via

We had a very nice morning with Carlos and his brother. Even though I found it quite exciting, she reassured me and I enjoyed it immensely. They worked very safely and explained everything well. Easily accessible from the main road of Uvita, and from the office you can start your adventure almost immediately. If you are in Uvita or the surrounding area, definitely do it! – via

I came with a small group of 7 total and had a great time with Carlos. They make sure you are comfortable with the equipment and the experience by having you start on some smaller falls to get an understanding of appropriate body position and ensure you feel safe the whole time. The guides take pictures as well so you don’t have to worry about bringing anything other than a sense of adventure! – via

Absolute best experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventure. We have never done this before, but we were so glad we decided to go. They have you start on small falls and work up to the bigger ones. They take safety very seriously, from rappelling procedures, where to walk/wait, and wildlife. Unique and amazing! Heads up, the road into the location is long, bumpy and dirt/rock. Be prepared for slow driving in and keep going! – via

I did this experience about 8 years ago
….. And again just a few days ago. This is an absolute must do tour when you are visiting south Pacific Costa Rica. I learned so much about nature and the area around me from Carlos…. And had such an amazing time repelling the waterfalls. The second time I sent my children (19,16,14) off with Carlos and Malcom to do the repelling and they absolutely LOVED it. They learned so much, had so much fun…. Highly highly recommend. This is a must do for anyone down here, even if this is your 20th time visiting the area…. You will learn so much and have such a great experience! – via

An amazing experience! Our group of 6 ages 17-55 all truly enjoyed our adventure. Carlos was an amazing guide, he thoroughly conveyed all instructions for technique and protocols for safety. Being able to access the remote river canyon in this way was incredible! Rugged and wild and so beautiful. Truly a unique experience to be had while in Uvita.
