Went July 2023. The food was better in high school and here you have to wash your plates. Lunch and dinner time you would hope for guides to speak about the canyon the river etc. but all we got was instructions on how to get work done and where and how to poop. They tell you the river is class 1-10 which is not standard classification and they say you’ll experience class 6 or 7 which was all hype. The river is fairly calm and would be a class 2 in standard classification. We didn’t learn until later that the waterfall required some rock climbing and so some people couldn’t make it up. My two boys – young men – are very strong and were very helpful to other guest who gave us their appreciation. My boys were helping people get on and off our raft while the guides stood around. At the end we gave a generous tip but never received a thank you. Still, my boys really enjoyed the experience as it was so different from our typical beach vacations. Oh – the ranch – it was fun with horseback riding aqnd skeet shooting but they brag about their beef and then serve you boiled stew meat so don’t expect a cowboy bbq or even a burger. Very disappointing. Overall this trip was good for its uniqueness and canyon views only. – via
