Huge huge disappointment!!!! Planned a $800 fishing charter. They took us out and in the four (which was supposed to be 5 hours out) we caught ONE fish.

Ive been on other charters, and this one was a joke. No advice offered to those on board while trying to reel something in. Instead of bringing us to a good spot, we drove aimlessly the whole time with lines dragging hoping for a bite. The lines sat in the water for an hour before theyd pull to see if bait was still onwhich out of 4 hooks in the water only one still had the whole bait. They seemed to be clueless.

Over the phone they boasted that they would clean anything caught. Nope, once docked, he handed us the ONE small fish we caught. When asked if he was going ti clean in, he told us no I cant clean any fish. It wasnt until MORE money was offered that all of the sudden he could do it. Our entire group was so extremely disappointed. We will not return and hope others find a better charter to give their money to. – via

We made a last minute decision to go snorkeling while nearby in Buyé. Found this outfit and, based on the reviews called to see if we could schedule an outing. The Captain asked if 1pm was okay. I asked about the weather as it seemed it would be coming in. The Captain insisted he would take us where the rain was not and that it was his job to make sure we got in some good snorkeling. I trusted him and planned our morning around that. We found an ATM, as he requested cash payment, and arrived on time at the agreed upon location. Before taking off, I once again second guessed the weather, as I was thinking we should not go. He assured me he would take us to where we would avoid the storms and be able to snorkel.

We arrived close to the reef after a very long ride, dropped anchor, and got in the water. After no more than 20-25 minutes of seeing a few fish and dead coral, the first mate told us to get back in the boat because we were going to another location. As we approached the new location, the weather was growing more unstable and the Captain as the first mate not to drop anchor after all, as he would take us elsewhere. He aimed the boat back towards the mainland and asked if he could take us to Isla Ratones. I asked if there was anything to see there and he assured me there was. Another long boat ride, dropped anchor, and the Captain tells me we have 20 minutes. We got in the water and saw exactly 3 fish before getting back on the boat and to the dock. Colossal disappointment, waste of time and money. Avoid.

Following up following the reply to add that we did *not* spend an hour snorkeling. It was 20-25 minutes TOPS. We rode the boat more than we were in the water. Absurd/inaccurate response. – via
