We did a company teambuilding here and this was our experience.
What worked:
– I love how their staff were pastors and that they were very polite and friendly.
– the place is so big so there were a lot of activities
– while booking, their staff was very responsive. They even send out the email and text you right after you inquire something. They always reply on the day. No delays.
– their staff was accommodating
-the activities were interesting and very challenging.
– they had 5 facilitators
– they had a distilled water that can still give cold and hot water (but kinda dirty)
– place is exclusive to us
What could work better:
– I think their office was hard to find especially since there was a gate and there wasn’t any signage in their door so it was confusing.
– we were scheduled to start at 8am and the staff/facilitators arrived at 8am instead of being ahead of time. There was no standby staff on the site as well so there were no one to welcome us. We were thinking that maybe we went to a wrong place.
-the CR In the parking area was not clean and usable. It was so hard to change clothes given that they dont let people in before the activity starts.
-I think the facilitators can improve on how they process their activities. The activity was good but the way of connecting the activity to build the team work of the team was lacking. They sometimes cant handle the processing part of the activity which I think was the most important part of the teambuilding.
-there were activities that was for individuals. I think that it was inappropriate to incorporate on a team building activity especially on the last part of the team building. It will be better if there was a progression. From individual to pait to group. Since they made the individual activity as the last activity, it made the team feel like they just went into a challenging activities instead of a team building which I think defeats the purpose.
