First time trip to Bali and scuba diving and it was fantastic. Jacob and Jos took our group of 6 out two were certified and four new divers. The instruction to use the equipment was easy to follow and the instructors made sure we were very comfortable before leaving the pool setting. Both Jacob and Jos were so at ease under the water and stayed close that you couldn’t help but feel relaxed as well. The dive locations were fantastic with lots to see and set the bar high for future dives! I would highly recommend Zen Dive to anyone interested in wanting to scuba for the first time. Thanks Jacob and Jos for a great time out and under the water! – via google

Cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Jos at Zen. Our son is 14 and newly certified keen diver. As a parent it is like handing your faith over to a stranger as they submerge to the depths while we snorkel above. He is patient, thorough an excellent teacher and overall awesome human. We had an absolutely amazing experience here.

Everything is run so professionally; transportation, equipment and lunch/snacks are all included; and the divemaster, dive guide, and other staff are so nice and friendly!! In total we dived 6 times (three days), would have loved to dive even more, but had to leave sadly.

Before diving here, I had anxiety diving because I had never properly mastered how to clear my mask. Jos, the divemaster, went on a private dive with me and my fiancée, saw what I was doing wrong, and helped me correct it— I became confident underwater and fell in looove with diving! He also pointed out ways my fiancée (who was already quite good and confident) could improve.

We had an absolutely amazing experience here.

Jacob and his team are the best in Bali, you will not be disappointed by booking with them!

My husband and I already have our open water certification and were planning a last minute trip to Bali. We wanted to get in a a couple of dives and I reached out to about 18 shops all across the island…being in the States i know that our correspondence times were off by daytime and night time but no matter what time it was Jacob was always the easiest to communicate with. He was very quick to respond, had a lot of information, and was able to answer our questions and take care of our special accommodations immediately about the type of equipment he was using. He was the only one that made me feel comfortable from the get go. We decided to do our Advanced Certification course with him and we are very glad we did so. Jacob as an instructor offers a lot of valuable information and the manner in which he delivers it also made the experience very tranquil and enjoyable. I cannot recommend this shop enough to anyone who has first time jitters or anyone experienced looking to gain knowledge. Jacob’s equipment is well taken care of, and you can relax knowing that you are in good hands. We will definitely use him and his shop when we go back. We had an amazing experience at Zen Dive getting our advanced open water certification. Our instructor, Jacob, was kind, passionate and patient. He made us feel extremely comfortable practicing our skills and helped us focus on how much breathing impacts your dive experience in a really peaceful way. He was the best dive master we’ve ever had and aside from the required skills, made sure we enjoyed each dive by spotting great wildlife like micro-seahorses and sharks.

The center is very organized and all the staff members are hard-working and kind — Everyone is always offering to help clean/carry equipment, drive/drop off and always asking if you need coffee/water.

Dived with Instructor Bram, had the best time, dived Amed, Padang Bai, Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong.
