After coming highly recommended, we had an amazing 3 days surfing with Manuel on our honeymoon!
As first time surfers, my husband and I were a little apprehensive of the waves but he quickly showed us the ropes and before we knew it, we were in the water!
A no-nonsense style, if you want to get stuck in and are willing to put the effort in – you’ll be standing up and riding the waves in a couple of hours!
Manuel was super friendly and definitely showed us the Pura Vida lifestyle.
We’d definitely love to come back soon and improve our surf some more! – via

Manu, my new friend and coach, is a great person and brings out the best of you when learning how to surf. He took me step by step to a higher level and after a few lessons I felt comfortable to surf on my own and to become more experienced.
Great eye for detail and feedback after every wave, so that I could fix it with the next wave. Perfect way of teaching. Strongly recommended! – via

5 star experience. Manuel was an amazing surf coach. I was lucky enough to take multiple lessons with him, and my surfing greatly improved. Manuel was a complete professional, and made me feel comfortable and safe in the water. He was able to give me clear and real time feedback on my performance, and provided super helpful adjustments.

I highly recommend working with Manuel if you are looking to improve your surfing and have fun doing it. I wish I could take lessons everyday! – via
