Great place for fun and adventure! I visited here as a birthday present, and I must say we enjoyed ourselves fully. We went zip lining. They are six zip lining lines available here. We stopped after line number two. We’re not experienced a zip lining, so no need to chance it and ruin our vacation. We also did the ATV tours. There wasn’t a whole lot of mud but there was a whole lotta fun. Like many resort areas, we had to pay for our pictures. They were digital images, but this allows us to print them at home and make pictures of our images. We also do the cooking tour which is a lot of fun and the food turned out pretty good.
The only thing that I have a complaint about is the food served as a free lunch. We only ate it because we needed something of substance since we hadn’t really had a lot to eat and we needed to nourish our bodies while we continued to do our activities.
As far as the organization of a tour that may be purchased, I found that there is an a lot of organization on certain days. As soon because it was a Saturday and there were so many people in so many different packages and activities people chose to do, there was a lot of running around and chaos when it was time to begin a tour. I think that is just one of the drawbacks, but I did hear one of the employees say that it was 2 1/2 days of work for him since it was so busy. One thing I would like to recommend to anybody who visits is to bring small bills so that you can tip your tour guides. Many persons who work in Jamaica, do not make a whole lot of money, regardless of how much money the corporation makes and a tip for them from the customers go along way to help them and their families. Tips are not required, but it is always helpful. Especially to the people who are not getting wealthy off of the tourism. Overall it’s a great park and a great way to pull out your inner Indiana Jones! – via
