We went on two snorkels with White Sands. Both times, our guide was Henry. He was exceptionally awesome. We went to really beautiful spots (Mexico Rocks and Hol Chan) and because of him, we saw things we might have otherwise missed. He is very knowledgeable and very chill. The office staff was also amazing. We booked a third trip through White Sands to the Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye with another dive shop. White Sands was so easy to make arrangements with, and everything was settled via email and WhatsApp before we even arrived in Belize. I would definitely recommend! – via google

OMG! What an AMAZING crew!!! I went out 2 days, diving and snorkeling with DMs Juan & Chino. My last dive was almost a year ago but their care and patience with me ensured I had the best experience. It’s always therapeutic being under and seeing marine life, great dive spots…I saw nurse sharks, stingrays, my 1st moray eel, schools of fish and beautiful coral. Also, the front desk staff and boat drivers are awesome too. I really enjoyed myself and the best part is they will pick up and drop off on San Pedro. THIS is the dive shop for YOU! – via google

We made 4 dives and 2 snorkels trips with White Sands and it was fantastic! Our original two dive excursions were rearranged due to the entire area experiencing high winds and high surf conditions which was not ideal for making it outside of the barrier reef. We were able to have a really nice dive in the Holchan Marine Reserve which was mellow and fantastic! Then we went to Share Ray Alley and snorkeled with the nurse sharks. Again due to the high surf conditions we had to cancel our Blue Hole trip, however we were offered a refund or credit towards other dives if conditions improved. We decided to take our kids (8 and 5) snorkeling, which the 8 year old loved and Captain Albie was awesome by being his personal tour guide around Mexico Rocks. Finally the weather calmed down and we were able to do a two tank excursion outside the reef to some very incredible diving, saw a giant loggerhead turtle, 3 reef sharks, and an amazing reef that was just full of life! Then we finished the trip off with a night dive around Mexico Rocks where we saw about 8 different octopus, a bunch of wondering lobsters, including the largest lobster I’ve ever seen, some moray and spotted eels, and several sleeping parrot fish!

I can’t say enough about the diving team, our Divemaster Juan was extremely knowledgeable about the diving locations, marine life we may encounter, conservation efforts of Belize, and most importantly our safety. When we come back to Belize, we’ll be diving with them again. – via google

Top notch dive shop also offering other water adventures. Friendly and helpful at every touch point, going out of their way to make the entire experience. From reservation phone call to dive experience, to offering freshly sliced pineapple during the surface interval. My husband and I learnt how to dive with White Sands Dive shop and were very happy with the care they took with us. Fifteen years later, we brought our son to get his diving certificate and they are just as great with him as they were with us.
Thanks Julie, Raul, Jose, Sergio and the rest of the team for giving us another great time in the waters of Belize and for giving the rest of our group (diving and snorkelling) a great eye opener!
