First time in Philippines. The wife chose this resort to be close yet for from the “party” at station 2. When we arrived we were greeted by staff with drinks. Ordered a bite to eat. First impression was staff was friendly and accommodating. Food came in a decent time, and to my surprise the food was much better than I was expecting. Avel showed us to our room, went over the entire room with us. This is a small hotel, so they will know who you are throughout your entire stay. They answered all questions we had about the island, local food spots, places to avoid, etc. Overall satisfied with stay and the staff makes the hotel. – via google

Excellent accueil souriant et serviable: nous avons eu un problème de bagages, ils ont géré ce problème avec brio! Notre chambre avec balcon vue sur la mer et white sand beach était parfaite: propre, literie confortable, rangements variés et très bien équipée. La salle de bain est très bien conçue avec une grande douche et des produits d’accueil. L’ensemble du personnel est très dévoué et professionnel. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et peut être servi sur votre balcon. Il vous prête aussi des serviettes de plage. L’environnement est calme et sécurisé. Les cocktails sont très bien réalisés avec un rapport qualité prix parfait. Nous recommandons cet hôtel les yeux fermés !! – via google

We just came here last Feb 16-20, 2024 for my birthday week and was warmly welcomed by the staff. They treat all their clients equally well, compared to other hotels who will only treat foreigners well, so this is a plus. All the staff are so polite and nice. We got the room without the view since all the beach side rooms are booked ?? but we still enjoyed our stay ??. Their bed, I cannot, its so soft. We slept like a baby. So our room is facing the street side and the outside noise didn’t really bothered us mainly because we are from Manila the noise of the city streets never bothered us anyway. WaterColors is a diving hotel since they mainly offer PADI courses. But because of their proximity to the beach and they are in Station 1, we chose to book them and have never resented every bit of our stay. See you again this November 2024!!! ?????? – via google

A small and nice dive resort, with 6 rooms. I stayed in two of them, the windows and doors are of good quality, so I got a good night rest. I didn’t bother to go elsewhere to dive. Did 13 dives in total. All the staff is friendly and amazing, including the dive masters. The food and drinks are good, as well as the prices. The cocktails were super nice, done correctly, not with artificial sugar or pre-made mix from stores. The room price were higher than normal because of Chinese new year and Valintine’s day. I will come back. – via google

My son and I had the most memorable experience at Watercolors. From the warmest of welcomes extended by the personable and awesome team, to the indelible sunsets now etched in our memories (right from our balcony!), and there’s also the authentic and delectable cuisine… every part of our enjoyment of Boracay was anchored through our stay at Watercolors. My first dive experience was a resort course in Grand Cayman with Tortuga divers, a quick safety class in the pool and printed material, skills demonstrated and off to the ocean. Three enjoyable dives. No complaints. Back in New Hampshire I did my open water paying attention, reading and understanding the provided materials and paying attention in class. Not everyone in my class did so but they were able to pass as they were able to demonstrate the required skills. I could list the negatives but I think my experience was typical. I then moved on to my new. Dive store Aquatic Escapes to do my advanced open water and discovered everything that was missing in my previous training. Mike not only explained what but why each skill was needed and ensured I was proficient in every one. I feel fortunate to have found such an inspiring and capable instructor and would recommend both him and Aquatic Escapes without reservation. – via google

5 stars for the Watercolor restaurant. Try the burger. It’s great. The cocktails are superb value and quality. Coffee is very serviceable. Staff are so kind. Bathroom is so clean. A beautiful, peaceful atmosphere right by the beach. There are always some hits and misses on a menu, but this restaurant is run by a person of taste who takes real pride in quality and customer experience. Happy to find this place! – via google

We went to Boracay for my son’s 14th birthday. Before our trip, I’ve booked for a scuba experience for us and candidly informed it’s my son’s birthday on our scheduled scuba class. Ms. Jenny, our dive instructor is superb! An absolute pro. The course includes a PADI lecture, with Ms. Jenny teaching all the basics, initially on land and on shallow waters. After which, we dived and were able to showcase what we’ve learned. Her knowledge, support and guidance underwater made us feel safe and made the experience truly enjoyable. We visited the coral gardens of Boracay, found Nemo and a whole lot of colorful fishes and corals! What touched us the most is she had a surprise underwater birthday cake for my son!! All the while, we thought the bag she was carrying underwater contains dive equipment..but lo and behold! It was a homemade birthday cake made of recycle materials and plastic fruits! What a very personal experience.. and we truly, truly appreciate it. Thank you so much, Ms. Jenny and Watercolors! We’ll be back, for sure! – via google

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. If you want that peaceful, less crowded place, beachfront, but still accessible from the main road and restaurants and bars outside, they’ve got the perfect location (station 1, near willy’s rock). Their staff were all friendly and will make you feel at home. We stayed at the penthouse where we had access at the rooftop terrace/ balcony that is overlooking at the white beach. Their free breakfast comes with a continental set so you may want to upgrade it to other options available from their menu. They can lend you mats which you can use for sunbathing at the beach (while waiting for the sunset). Perhaps the only downside for me, was there’s no readily accessible hot/warm drinking water because they don’t have electric kettles in their rooms. You need to always request from the staff every time you needed one which may take time time. I understand that they’re trying to save energy/ being eco friendly but perhaps they may want to save some spare electric kettles or thermos for guests like me who needed warm water every time. Anyway, we loved our stay at watercolors and I’m considering of going back/ or recommending this to others. – via google
