I recently completed my ssi open water dive corse walst in Portugal and wanted to do some diveing back home in Cornwall so went out with the view point diveing club today and it was brilliant a grate group of people I would highly recommend veiw point diveing. THE BEST DIVE CENTER IVE EVER USED!!
I put my son through his open water at Viewpoint Diving. Steve was brilliant with him!!! He was informative and gave him the time of his life!! Safety was top class!!!
Then after being out of the water for a number of years, I did my PADI REACIVATE with Dave ( The owner who is a 5 star IDC staff instructor)
Dave is a 100% genuine guy who’s only interested in you!!! He only cares for your safety and your diving pleasure!! He knows his stuff better than the back of his hand, and I have never met anyone so knowledgeable!!
Dave and Steve can’t do enough for you and you go home feeling like part of the family…..They don’t want you to leave!!
From the moment you pull up outside and Dave is smiling at you sipping his coffee (by the way…. He likes latte’s 😉 )
Until you leave, you will have the best experience ever.
Like I said, I hadn’t dived in a while….. Now I just wanna get back there!!
You will hear Dave’s motto numerous times “All I want is you to dive safe and enjoy your diving”.

An amazing dive school where the passion for SCUBA and training others to dive clearly shines through. My son (11 years) recently completed his Junior Open Water PADI here, and what a fantastic experience he had! Dave, the lead instructor, was patient and professional as well as approachable and friendly. The course was delivered in a fun environment and was set at a pace that suited all students – it never felt rushed at any point. Dave had so much advice and information to share (he has over 6000 dives under his belt), it was fascinating listening to him teach (parents are welcome to stay and learn too)! The sea dives were an adventure my son won’t forget soon and he’s already asking when he can dive next. Thank you so much to Dave, Steve and Viewpoint for making a young man’s dream come true and encouraging him to venture to places he’s never been to before. Superb dive school! – via

Dave runs a great dive shop and school. It’s full of character and charm which many places sadly have lost to over commercial looking premises….Not here, Dave is an outstanding relaxed instructor and makes you feel at home the minute you walk in the door. No pushy sales (although there is a great amount of choice) and he and his staff will do their best to give you what you need from a dive trip to a full on course.
We dived and gained lots of knowledge of the area both land and sea…. Absolutely first class and you should definitely visit them during a holiday to get air refills or to rank up your skill base.

I can honestly say I’ve never met such a friendly, honest and genuine person in the dive fraternity as Dave at Viewpoint. I was honoured to join the viewpoint divers is August last year as a last minute extra to their club dive and enjoyed myself so much, that I drove all the way from Suffolk to Cornwall to do my drysuit course with them today. Such a friendly bunch of people, great atmosphere, I genuinely can’t wait to plan my next 7 hour drive so I can see them again. – via

The term Viewpoint is very confusing. I was expecting a great viewpoint over the coast. Why would you name a diving centre Viewpoint?
My response to the owner’s comment.
– First of all, you don’t really seem to care as much about your reviews as you pretend. Otherwise you wouldn’t have replied to my review after more than two years, would you?
– Secondly, how do you even know I did not dive/shop with you? My response is more than 2 years old! How could you even still know? Especially from my pseudonym only? Plus, isn’t it obvious, I did not dive with you at all? I criticised the name of your establishment only, didn’t I?
– Last but not least, what ridiculous allegations? I am not interested in “review totals”. I am warning other people not to expect A viewpoint at this spot. Me and my partner – like a lot of travellers – look out for viewpoints on Google Maps wherever we travel for scenic views. It’s obvious why blindly navigating to your “Viewpoint” was a waste of time, thus my review. – via
