Based on recommendation from a friend I wanted to dive El Pit cenote. I was only in the area for a week and didn’t know which dive shop to contact. I did an internet search and came across Scuba Playa which offers an El Pit trip. I sent them an inquiry via WhatsApp and Anita responded within minutes. She answered all my questions and was accommodating. I booked a trip immediately. IT WAS AWESOME. I was the only tourist on the trip so I got personal service. The dive master Ana was superb — very knowledgeable and qualified. Briefed me fully before each dive, was patient and made it a great experience. We did El Pit cenote and Nicte-Ha cenote. Truly wonderful! I will not hesitate to use this dive shop again. – via

They had the best prices of all the dive centers I approached in Playa del Carmen. Two dives in the cenotes for USD 130, including rental of a complete set of equipment. Everything was included in the price, including lunch and transport. The only thing that needs to be paid extra is the entrance fee to the cenotes. In my case it was 250 pesos. It is a small but well-functioning dive center. Sunny, my guide was totally cool, older, prudent, explained everything. It was my first cenote dive, but I felt absolutely safe. I fully recommend. – via

I highly recommend diving with AC Divers. We got our PADI Open Water certification here and could not have asked for a better experience. At all times we felt safe and well-informed of what we were doing thanks to Aaron and Cazz’s excellent communication skills, both in person, underwater, and through email. The price they quoted us upfront included absolutely everything so we did not have to stress about surprise costs later on in our trip. Aaron and Cazz are extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for new and experienced divers alike. We came away from our course with incredible photos, videos, and a valuable skill that we hope to continue to hone in the future in order to further enhance our appreciation for all things below the sea. I truly hope I get a chance to dive with them again, but until then I will cherish the wonderful memories made here. – via

I got my SDI Open Water certificate at the AC Divers. My instuctor was Carolyn Ross. The process of getting was max professional, amazingly client-oriented, fully personalized, in short time period, despite imperfect weather conditions. Thanks to the professionalism of the team I got not only certificate, but amazing support on the learning process and, then during my first dives, answers for all my questions and opportunity to make two extra dives which were amazing.
I can highly recommend this team to anyone who is looking for an entrance to the world of diving.
