If you are in the area on a summer Friday night try something different. Going to the races here is a great time and I believe it rates as a piece of Americana. There are a few top notch elite drivers ( one drives on the nascar truck series) and the sheer speed of the modifieds is exhilarating. For the hours of entertainment 13 dollars is a bargain and I believe children are less. Concessions are reasonable, last week I enjoyed an outstanding sausage onion and pepper for only 5 dollars. Everyone should experience this even if only once. I have to believe you will leave there with something good to remember, even if it’s just 5-10 year old boys standing straight with their hands over their hearts during the national anthem. I always love to see that. – via
