Would not shop here again 🙁 Had signs all over with sales posted so picked a bunch of stuff and we’re told we would not get the sell price as the signs were supposed to be taken down and the sale was over already ! Spent $600 for gear after the boy helping kept changing prices on us after we were ready 🙁 – via

I recently had the pleasure of becoming a certified PADI Open Water diver through Under Water Works. The instructors and divemasters were undeniably competent and incredibly patient. As someone who learned to swim as an adult, I felt like I was always in great hands. They knew exactly how to build my confidence in and above the water, and helped me to work through any mental/physical blocks. Thank you Gretchen, David, and Justin x2 for an amazing open water weekend and intro to scuba diving!
For those who are already certified, they host monthly fun dives at different dive sites around the PNW. They provide dive site info, help pair up single divers, and even guide those who are beginners. Check out dates/locations on their website! My open water weekend dives occurred right before their fun dives, and it was encouraging to see other divers of all experience levels come together. It is truly a testament to UWW’s love for PNW diving and the fostering of our local dive community. I can’t wait to participate in them! – via

If you need to get your scuba certification this is the place to go to. Every single person I’ve met who works here has been kind, helpful and determined to help make me a confident and knowledgeable scuba diver. They genuinely have your best interests at heart. During one of my final dives I had an anxiety attack at 40 feet and David calmly knew how to get me safely to the surface. I immediately started heading for shore with the intention of removing my equipment and finishing up my dives somewhere tropical, but David called out for me to stop. I didn’t want to, but I’m glad I listened. We talked about what went wrong and I was comfortably diving again in 15 minutes. He gave me the push I needed to successfully get my certification that weekend and I’m so thankful. I couldn’t imagine a better team to work with and I highly recommend this shop for any scuba certifications or equipment. – via

I cannot recommend this dive shop more! I just completed my open water dive certification and the entire dive team was incredible. Gretchen and David went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and help in anyway possible. They are also just incredibly fun people to be around. If you are thinking about getting your open water cert go here! – via

I completed the beginning (pool) portion of my Open Water Certification with Under Water Works and I can’t recommend them enough! Gretchen, Dave and Justin were very knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable with each skill before moving on. It made the open water portions of the certification a breeze, which meant we were able to spend more time diving! I look forward to participating in their fun dives around the PNW! – via
