We went with Jacki today and had a great tour with him to Mount Batur. He chose a wonderful place for us to watch the sunrise, where you wouldn’t notice how many people were actually on the mountain and could enjoy the moment “alone”. The rest of the tour was great with the craters and the black sand! We had our baby with us and Jacki helped us the whole way to bring the little one back down safely and safely. Sehr netter Guide! Waren früh genug oben, um einen guten Platz zu kriegen. Bei Sonnenaufgang wurden wir über einen Grad geführt, um an einem ruhigeren Ort den Sonnenaufgang zu genießen. Beware this is a very hard hike. Not as tourist friendly as it may seem. Was a struggle to get up the top- seemed as though the majority of our group found this as well. Views from the top were incredible however. – via

Sun Rise Tour
I enjoyed the tour. It is one of the most spectacular hiking that I have ever done. The hiking is in a good paste, and we have short breaks in between the hike. Not in a rush to the top.
Hiking in the dark at 3:30 am, and arriving around 5 am-5:30 am. When you arrive at the top, there’s already someone preparing breakfast for you.
So when you are at the top, it is nice to have a warm cup of coffee in your hand.
The view is breathtaking, it is worth it to hike all the way up and see the sunrise.
100% will do it again.
You will also see local farmers at the bottom of the volcano, with their fresh veggies and fruits. The local fruit products have a lot of nutrition and freshness growing from the volcanic soil.
Thank you, Tree, our tour guide for her help. She is a professional hiker and has been leading tours for a long time. We are in a good paste, and we reach the top earlier than expected.
