My fiancé and I went with Tusa Reef Tours on the 15/02. We had a great experience. The boat was very comfortable and the food was delicious and plenty of. All of the staff were professional and ready to help/answer questions! We did 2 guided dives led by Annabelle and she was amazing, so enthusiastic and knowledgeable of all the different sea life we encountered! – via google

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Tusa Reef Tours in Cairns, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. My dive guide, Annabelle, was not only incredibly knowledgeable about marine life, but her passion for her job truly shone through. She expertly spotted all the marine animals. After the dives, Annabelle also discussed the marine animals we encountered in the waters and enriched our experience with fascinating information.

The onboard experience was equally impressive. Julianne, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, pampering us with delicious food and drinks. The display of food was not only appetizing but of excellent quality, complemented by a free flow of alcohol.

Furthermore, the professionalism and teamwork exhibited by all staff members were commendable. They were meticulous in their service, even assisting us with putting on and taking off our fins before and after each dive. This attention to detail truly made it feel like a holiday, and without a doubt, it was the best dive experience I’ve had in Cairns.

Overall, Tusa Reef Tours provided an excellent service, leaving me with unforgettable memories and a desire to return. – via google

Very nice experience! I tried scuba diving for the first time and I fell in love with it.
The staff is very lovely and helpful, my scuba diver Matt was knowledgeable and highly prepared and made me feel comfortable with the experience.
Although, I would have loved a photo/video package so this would be a recommendation to make the experience even better 🙂

Nothing other than brilliant! The team were incredible throughout the day and very assertive and catered for everyone’s needs and abilities throughout the voyage I have e been on multiple dives and this team were by far the best, friendly and supportive. Breakfast was prepared for the moment we arrived on the boat, warm coffee and water was readily available. We were guided by Hannah (Hanni), a marine biologist who is an expert in her field who pointed out incredible fish during the 3 dives. We were lucky enough to see white tip sharks and turtles in our dives amongst an impressive array of various other fish.
The tour truly was a premium option and I would highly recommend using Tusa for beginners or certified divers.
I would like to say a massive thank you to the entire team who were very detailed in pre dive tips and hand signals of the various fish we may encounter. – via google

Took my wife, my father and my two sons for a mixture of snorkelling and diving. My dad was very nervous doing his first snorkelling and the staff were very patient and attentive with him. My two lads and I took the longer dive options and had two different instructors (Hannie and Abbie) and both were awesome. Friendly, professional and patient. The boat is lovely, clean and modern, the diving equipment is top drawer and the food is bloody brilliant. Oh, and you get free beer and wine at the end if you so wish. The two locations were pretty good, but having dived at the GBR twenty years ago, my wife and I could see a tangible difference between then and now. Still, plenty of beautiful fish and coral to see. If you want an experience with fewer people around you, in a more relaxing environment in very comfortable conditions, book with TUSA. It’s well worth the extra coin. Trust me, when we saw some of the other rust buckets operating close by with 100+ people on-board, we were very happy we’d made the choice we did! Sweeeeeeeeeeet bro. – via google

The captain crashed our boat directly into a local fisherman, shattering his boat and belongings. The staff didn’t say anything to us and ignored us when we asked if we could help the fisherman.
They gave no context as they dropped him off at a dock and when we pulled away, the captain told us it wasn’t his fault.
Snorkeling was fine but would have been better with a friendlier staff giving more direction and speaking to us.
Overall, disappointing because we weren’t offered any sort of reimbursement for the crash or explanation. We were just expected to ignore it. – via google

(Translated by Google) We had booked a day snorkeling tour on the Great Barrier Reef. Boat and gear appeared to be in clean, very good condition. All equipment was provided, unfortunately not enough wetsuits were available in all sizes so I had to dive in one that was too narrow to be usable.
Everything was prepared and explained well by the crew, and the diving watch seemed ok. We didn’t have any food. The use of different diving spots is very practical, as the boat can adapt well to the weather conditions and to high visitor numbers. They also offered photos on the pier and underwater, but they sold really expensive. We would go out with them again if we had the chance.

Wir hatten eine Tagestour am Great Barrier Reef zum schnorcheln gebucht. Boot und Ausrüstung schienen in einem sauberen, sehr guten Zustand zu sein. Es wurde die ganze Ausrüstung zur Verfügung gestellt, leider waren nicht ausreichend Neoanzüge in allen Größen verfügbar, so dass ich in einem zu Engen tauchen musste, der gerade noch so nutzbar war.
Von der Crew wurde alles vorbereitet und gut erklärt, auch die Tauchwache schien ok. Essen hatten wir keines. Die Nutzung verscheider Tauchspots ist sehr praktisch, da das Boot sich den Wetterverhältnissen und zu hohem Besucheraufkommen gut anpassen kann. Sie boten auch Fotos am Pier und unter Wasser an, die jedoch wirklich teuer verkauft wurden. Wir würden bei Gelegenheit wieder mit ihnen hinausfahren. – via google

Amazing boat, amazing crew, amazing food!!!

I have been to quite a few boat trip and this experience was the best ever. The boat is spacious and comfortable. The crew member were friendly, funny and helpful, which was another element of having a pleasant journey. I was the troubled one, I could only manage to dive once out of three, and lost one fun during snorkel . Yet our instructor, Ben, was very helpful and paid additional cares to me. He was very educational towards log book section too!! We’ve learnt knowledge of reef ecosystem – various marine creatures and their behaviour, which was an enjoyable experience and something I didn’t come across with other dives. We could see his absolute passion towArds diving and Great Barrier Reef.

*Special thanks to the lady crew member ( don’t recall her name) who found my fin dropped straight in the ocean.* also, it was also the first snorkel tour I ever had that she would point out some interesting sea animals to us.

I don’t often leave reviews but felt I should to help others looking for exactly what we were. We were Open Water divers wanting to see the Great Barrier Reef with good dive masters aboard a nice boat. We got exactly that.

Ryan, leading the team, was hilarious and switched on, ensuring everyone’s safety. And Ben was our dive master – attentive, enthusiastic and extremely helpful throughout our trip. He even took the time afterwards to run us through what we saw out in the reef on our dives, top man! Genuinely passionate about diving and the reef life.

As for the boat, modern, well equipped, spacious. It ticked all the boxes for us. We were lucky on the day as it was at about half capacity (30 odd people), so there was tonnes of room.

The team made sure we were put into a group of similar level experienced divers which was appreciated. And we were dealt with separately to the snorkellers when entering the water – we were first to enter the water.

Overall, I couldn’t recommend enough. It was safe, enjoyable, and a great day out. Would definitely use TUSA again if/when we come back! Thanks team – via google
