An intimate one-of-kind tropical beachfront getaway. Imagine your own “deserted tropical island” … where they cook delicious meals for you. Scuba diving, snorkeling, and sport fishing are so much healthier for your soul than doomscrolling! The life commitment of the owner/proprietors shows in every detail. Emphasis is on eco-responsible rather than “generic” luxury. Visit their website.
When they take you diving, it’s a few guests and a divemaster who knows all the good local spots and conditions, not 16 or 24 souls stacked knee to elbow on a commercial grinder. – via

A beautiful serene experience on a slow moving island. We loved our time here – the rooms were great, the food (set menu) was always delicious, the infinity pool is beautiful and the resort itself is so unique – all eco friendly and regenerative and we were so impressed by the thought and care that went into every aspect. We took a trip out to the Marine reserve from here – which the owner had a large part in – and enjoyed our time here. Craig, the owner, is so knowledgable about the area and marine reservation, and encourage getting to know the resident dog who is so sweet! – via

Turneffe Flats…what can I say….
Unbelievable fishing in a remote beautiful Atoll. Life is good here!
Staff are awesome, Guides are great…knowledgable and truly kind.
Shout out to Ed, Jad Craig and Staff!
5+ Stars all around. See you next summer.

Great experience at a lodge that is clearly committed to preserving the pristine ecosystem at Turneffe. Really impressed by the staff and in particular how the owners are a part of daily life at the lodge. Look forward to heading back hopefully soon. – via

Great place. Remote. Nothing to do but fish or dive. Food excellent!
Dive staff – Ernesto and Rubin were fantastic as was the diving. Only drawback is the biting flies and noSeeum’s. – via
