5.0/ 5

I booked through 3 Sisters even as a solo male trekker as they had good reviews, and rightly so. I left booking quite late (nothing was booked one week before starting my trek) and they organised every aspect required (domestic flights, accommodation, airport transfers, guide, permits etc.) without any problems. The office staff were prompt to reply to emails and always helpful.
My guide on the trek (Uttam) was incredibly friendly and proficient, with sufficient spoken & written English to make the trek smooth. I changed my route and trekking schedule several times during the trek, and this was never a problem. He knew the trails incredibly well and always chose comfy tea houses each night which had great food and great service.
Being able to stay at the 3 Sisters Guest House in Pokhara and visit their office in-person just 100m down the road was very convenient, and the staff there always greeted you with a smile.
I would 100% use 3 Sisters Adventure Trekking again, and would recommend them. – via google

1.0/ 5

Very sad to say I had an awful experience with this company. I was won over by the idea of supporting a female led organization, understanding the difficulties they face in Nepal, however I was given a very low quality service and a miserable guide that made me feel frustrated after my day with her.
I would have tipped her if she would have even asked my name. She didn’t talk to me throughout the entire day, didn’t ask where I came from or even pretend to be interested in my company. She clearly did not want to be there and did not put any effort in whatsoever. As I was solo, this made the experience bad. Nobody wants to feel like the guide is ‘forced’ to be there. Entertaining the guest is part of guiding. I didn’t even need entertainment but it would have been nice to have some friendliness, maybe even a smile from her. I cut the day short because it was so awful. The gear we used was also bad quality… not what you want when you are climbing. Overall a Big disappointment. – via google

5.0/ 5

I had an EXCELLENT 7 day Mardi Himal trek. 3 Sisters was my choice for a few reasons: 1. They allowed me to pick my own custom dates, versus joining a group with set dates. This really helped me in finding times that worked with flights etc. 2. I was hiking by myself, and as a solo woman it was a HUGE bonus to me that all the guides and assistants are women.

The trek was an amazing, once in a lifetime experience, thanks in large part to the Three Sisters staff. My guide, Sarmila, was friendly, helpful, and interesting to talk to. She had a lot of knowledge about the trek, the mountains, and the best ways to hike/schedule things to avoid altitude sickness, crowds and other issues. She also was open to talking about Nepali culture and daily life. She prioritized my comfort and safety. Her English skills were also amazing, I was so impressed she mostly learned on the job. My assistant, Pabitra, was newer to Three Sisters (I think she was on her first trek to Mardi Himal?) and she was also kind, helpful, and a comfortable presence for me.

Sarmila and Pabitra allowed me to shorten the trek by one day and were flexible with mid-trek changes. I also accidentally left my trekking poles on a jeep we traveled in and was sure I’d never see them again, but Sarmila did some legwork and was able to recover them for me. I’m sure that took a few phone calls and I didn’t realize she was even doing it until my poles showed up again the next day in the trunk of the car that was picking us up! Top notch organization & service.

I recommend this trekking company to everyone but especially women! 5 stars especially for Sarmila and Pabitra. Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience! – via google

Just returned from Mardi Himal trek with a lovely guide from 3sisters. I did it in 5 days but would advise everyone to take 6 or 7 days just to avoid the steep down hill on the last day through Siding which is possible but not very enjoyable for both you and the guide.
I didn’t need a porter for the short trek.
My guide was super nice and she knew a lot about local flora and fauna, took care of our accommodation (which helped a lot, it’s super busy right now in the tea houses because of the holiday but depending on the season you might find something independently) and I had a great time.
If you’re on a budget like me it might help to talk to 3sisters to use the local transportation to the trailhead and back.
Would definitely book with them again once I’m back to Pokhara! – via google

We recently went on the Manaslu trek with 3sisters and our amazing guide Muna. Muna made sure to keep asking for route updates along the way (lots of changes due to landslides) so we never got lost, found us the best guesthouses and taught us lots around local history & culture.

3sisters were amazing start to finish organising everything before we landed in Nepal so we could head off straight away to start the trek. Can’t recommend 3sisters enough, amazing organisation doing great work to get more women in to guiding! – via google
