This is the best place to learn to dive. We did the open water diving course with drysuit specialty and the service, care and attention to detail was faultless. My stepson is just learning English as a second language and they went out of their way to make him feel comfortable and understand everything. He is a far more confident young man as a result. From the initial pool training session to the 2 dives at Ellerton Lake, I feel really confident and have learnt a lot from them both. Everyone makes you feel so welcome and always having a good laugh along the way!
Can’t wait to continue diving with The Diving Centre next year and see what other courses I can do!!

The team’s warm, welcoming and truly exceptional in every way. The centre feels like home, from the moment you walk in. I had a great experience; the course and the dives were faulous! I had been looking forward to diving at the Farne islands for months and the experience couldnt have been more perfect. The seals were adorable, curious but shy and that’s another dive off that list. Top place. Swimsuit and T-shirt dive. Learnt basic things. And even got pics taken. Will get them soon – Monday morning coming. Awesome people, awesome pool and just wonderful.
Then I came back on Tuesday 7th June 2022 to learn about photography underwater. Wore my blue swimsuit and white T-shirt again. Learnt how to lie on the pool floor with my elbows touching the pool floor and how to take a photograph from various angles of toy dinosaurs. Struggled through with my neutral buoyancy. Struggled to pronounce the word when speaking with Jonathan before I left. Lol. But I had a wonderful time again and I’m so proud of what I learned from Buzz who was my buddy this time.
