Ailece vakit geçirilecek yürüyüş parkurları, bisiklet sürmeye uygun yerleri, Nisan ayında gölde başlayan su sporları,su kayağı,yüzme alanları,renklere göre farklı rota yürüyüşleri,biz mavi renkli rotadan yürüdük, oldukça rahattı, sadece bir gün önce yağan aşırı yağmur nedeniyle çamurlu alanlar fazla olsa da, doğada olmanın en güzel yanı kirlenmek olduğu için güzeldi ☺ Aileler çocukları ile birlikte yürüyüşe gelmişti,bebek arabasında olanlar, yürüyenler,parkurumuz oldukça hareketliydi. Maden kulesinin olduğu alanda çocuklar için oyun parkı bulunuyor. Yine bu alanda her türlü sıcak – soğuk içecek, cheesecake bulacağınız kafe var. Kafe de çevre ile ilgili harita ve maden kulesinin geçmişine ait kitaplar bulunuyor. Bu kitaplar arasında Türkçe ve Flaman dilinde olan ARKADAŞ isimli kitap çok ilgimi çekti. İçinde 1963 yılında Türkiye den ilk kez gelen işçiler ve aileleri ile fotoğraflı bilgiler bulunuyor. Küçük hediyelik eşyalar var. Maden kulesinin belli bir yerine kadar çıkarak etrafı izleme imkanı var. Hasselt üniversitesinin iklim değişikliği ile ilgili araştırmalar yaptığı bölüm var.
