(Translated by Google) It is a strong point against the north wind.
The guide is very good at finding small creatures, especially sea slugs. Diving while searching will also improve your buoyancy and nitrogen management skills, so you will improve!
It’s close to the port and you can take a shower right away, so it’s comfortable even in winter.

– via google

I can’t swim but I’ve done snorkeling before, so I was really looking forward to trying out diving. We changed into our wet-suits after listening to a brief description. They even provided me with a prescription diving mask for my bad eyesight! We then set off to practice how to use the equipment in waters that came up to our chest.

The instructor was very thorough, and I feel my anxiety lessen after we practiced. We then swam around the area while the instructor kept her eye on the four of us and guided us around the coral reefs. She did keep a lookout for us throughout the experience, but I wouldn’t recommend going in a group bigger than four, especially if everyone in the group doesn’t know how to swim or is panicky about diving though. After diving, we got to change out of our wet-suits and have a shower.

It was a disappointment that we didn’t get any pictures of us underwater, but the experience was still a great one that I would definitely recommend!

– via google

5.0/ 5

As someone who can’t swim, and a non-native Japanese speaker, I was nervous to try scuba diving in Japan. The instructor was kind and patient, and explained everything in English.

Before changing into the diving gear, we had a briefing on the basics of scuba diving and safety procedures. After we changed, they took us to a shallow area to practice using the equipment, and practice how to solve various issues that could possibly arise in the water.

After the shallow water training, it was time to try diving. I had some trouble with buoyancy and couldn’t control my body well in the water. I got a bit scared, surfacing and thinking maybe I couldn’t go through with diving. The instructor was very kind and said it was fine to stay on the surface, so I followed along from the top for a bit. They weren’t very deep, so everything was still quite visible. Once I calmed down and felt comfortable enough, I tried joining them deeper down. They led us to a spot full or coral and lovely tropical fish. When it was time to go, I felt like I had really been able to become comfortable in the water. I definitely want to go again.

I want to really emphasize how worthwhile this experience is. Even if, like me, you can’t swim and you feel scared. The instructor is amazing and will walk you through it all. It’ll definitely be an experience you’ll never forget. – via google
