Took a WSI course here. Terrible experience. Unorganized. Taught by someone through zoom on a TV. The pool is green and brown. Had to change in the bathroom, toilet didn’t work so it was filled with toilet paper and other fun stuff!!!!!!!! Was also told that lunch would be provided, never happened. Please do not waste your money here. I never write reviews for anything but this place was so bad I had to leave one. Also the course was held on father’s day???? And the only courses available for three weeks overlapped with father’s day????? – via

You want your young child to learn how to swim and you really don’t have that many choices. You can go with the cheap school or the good school. This is the good school. The teachers—diverse, caring, QUALIFIED and attentive. The management/ownership are always on site, involved. The space and the water are welcoming and CLEAN. feels like family. – via

Yesterday I could not find my swimsuit and called to see if I had left it here.
I was told that they had definitely seen it, but upon searching for it initially could not find it anywhere.
I informed that, because i had a class later that day i would need to know if they had it or not. Because it was unclear from this first call whether or not they had it. I called back a few minutes later trying to verify if they definitely did not have it (because I would then need to wear another swimsuit for my lesson). I was told by a man to give them 15 minutes to look again and call back. I assumed it had been lost or stolen came to my lesson with another swimsuit.
Upon finishing my lesson woman at front desk literally ENTERED THE LOCKER ROOM WHILE I WAS CHANGING and told me she did not appreciate that I had an ” attitude “when I called , that
It was rude for me to demand that they find my swimsuit by the time my lesson started.
I explained to this person multiple times that I never said that, I merely was trying to determine if they had the suit or not, and more so because I had a lesson that day 2 hours later. She continued to escalate, raise her voice, Insist that I demanded for them to find the suit , lectured me that anyone could have stolen the suit because i left it there and I should not expect them to be responsible for property, that I was rude etc. I told her i was aware that i left the suit, and that it could have been stolen and i was glad that it was found, she responded that i wasnt “acting like i was glad”. I told her whatever interpretation she had of me calling she needed to take out of her head Because it was wrong.
Upon leaving Informed front desk that I did not like how I was treated and spoken to , as if I’m someone off the street, not a paying customer. She continued to escalate raise her voice told me I have an attitude , that when I called I demanded that I would be calling back again in 15 minutes and that I demanded that they better have the suit by the time I called back. She asked her male coworker to corroborate this. .at which point the coworker clarified that he had actually advised me to call again in 15 minutes, that I never made such a demand.
I informed her I am a professional and why would I make such unreasonable demands .Also that if someone calls to ask if you found their property which they need for a lesson later why is that being taken as a personal Insult.
She then stated I was claiming to be better than everyone else because I’m a professional, and despite being a professional l need to look at what I have become now. I informed her as I do not take being told I have an attitude lightly given the stereotypical connotations implied.
THE ENTIRE interaction was highly unpleasant and ugly.
IN MY WHOLE LIFE I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY IN ANY BUSINESS. NEVER DID I EXPECT CALLING TO LOCATE MY SWIMSUIT IN TIME FOR A LESSON LATER THaT DAY WOULD CAUSE SUCH A VITRIOLIC REACTION. THIS WOMAN WAS UNWILLING TO ACCEPT THAT I DID NOT MAKE THESE DEMANDS AND CONTINUALLY VERBALLY ABUSED AND DEGRADED ME. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO CONFRONT PEOPLE WHILE THEY ARE CHANGING IN THE LOCKER ROOM AND TO INSIST THEY SAID OR DEMANDED SOMETHING THEY DID NOT, AND TO CONTINUE TO INSIST UPON THIS WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO CLARIFY the purpose of my call.
I really don’t know what else to say but this has ruined my perception of this school, which initially I did not have a problem with. – via

I just want to laugh at the review below mine. It’s truly hilarious. The couple that owns the shop could not be any nicer to everyone of every color. They have been in business for 15 years and have adopt every student and every patron as their own. It’s unfortunate that people who have a bad day take it out on the last people they see and how incredibly easy it is to pull the race card out when it convenient for them. Oh well, hope everyone gets a smile out of that ridiculous review. – via

Found them about 15 year too late but better late then never!!! Steve used to work with the dive shop (many moons ago) that I have spent over $10,000.00 at and got most of my certifications from but every time I tried going as of late they were closed. I turned to google then yelp and found Swim and Scuba. I have had a very positive experience, customer service, pricing and equipment service has been phenomenal. I plan on doing business with the Swim and Scuba team for many years to come. By the way… I believe this is my first positive review ever. – via
