The team at Sundown is wonderful. They generally do a Sunday dive, and I have joined them twice. Once they know what gear and sizes you need, all you need to do is complete the paperwork and they will bring your gear. It’s always a great group of people on the dive and the leader will coach and support you as needed. It’s an absolutely fabulous experience, and there’s no charge for the dive, only for the equipment rental. – via

The team at Sundown is wonderful. They generally do a Sunday dive, and I have joined them twice. Once they know what gear and sizes you need, all you need to do is complete the paperwork and they will bring your gear. It’s always a great group of people on the dive and the leader will coach and support you as needed. It’s an absolutely fabulous experience, and there’s no charge for the dive, only for the equipment rental. – via

My boyfriend and I had a great day of snorkeling and scuba diving day with Sundown Diving.
Lindsay and Ed were super responsive and helpful in booking this scuba diving day.
We rented a full drysuit package and a snorkeling kit. The prices were very fair and the gear was of good quality. I was a bit unlucky and my drysuit flooded, but I still had fun. 😉
On Sundays, it’s fun dive day at Sundown Diving, so I didn’t join a “guided” dive per se. However, the staff was still super helpful and made sure I was okay in and out of the water.
The conditions were quite difficult (in comparison to warm water diving) and they made sure I was safe and comfortable.
We went to Orlebar Point on Gabriola Island and the dive site was beautiful.
I strongly recommend this dive shop for scuba diving around Nanaimo. – via
