Open Water PADI
Heartfelt thanks to everyone. I feel so lucky to have been with people who believed in me (especially when I didn’t! ) and wanted my success as much as I did – fellow divers as well as staff. You have shown patience, understanding, kindness and encouragement ‘above and beyond,’ from my first tentative venture into the pool to this very special open water weekend. I am in awe of the wealth of experience in the club and grateful to be in such safe and helpful hands. Well done everyone. Good luck with the next step. See you on Tuesday……
This was my post on Face Book, when I returned from my first open water dive experience, today. I feel elated and have to share with anyone interested in giving this fabulous activity a try. I wholeheartedly recommend Steve and his team. Their safety/risk assessment and awareness of surroundings both in an out of the water is complete and ongoing. They are so enthusiastic and encouraging, yet understanding of this 60 year old Grannie’s apprehension and resultant daft mistakes. From making sure I was equipped with suitable kit through patient reassurance, encouragement and positive teaching/training strategies, to showing genuine pleasure in my success, they’ve made my PADI qualification attainable and fun. I can neither recommend nor thank them enough.
