Completed my Advanced open water PADI cert with them, including two dives to the Vandenberg and four reef dives. Shop staff is very friendly. Dive instructors were thorough, safe, and funny. They’re upfront with what’s required to have for equipment. Boat was spacious and had a hose to spray down if needed. I felt like I was in great hands with Tommy, and additional wisdom from Aaron throughout. Boat captain was also very regimented with safety protocols. 10/10 would recommend for repeat recreational dives or completing a certification with them. – via google

We had a wonderful experience using South Point. We did a day with them, dive in the USS Vandenberg, and we did a reef dive. The staff was super professional, very informative, and explained the Dives in detail. The Vandenberg is quite an experience. I’m not typically a deep diver just to the fact I enjoy my bottom time, but if you’ve never done it, you definitely need to stop in here and check it out with SPD. – via google

(Translated by Google) Decent experience with afternoon Reef 2 tank dive. Easy check-in at 1 p.m., meeting on the quay 2 mins walk away. There the captain equips you. Stab and bcd.
Negative point: no jumpsuit and no slippers. Even if the water temperature is 28°, I was starting to feel cold on the 2nd dive.
Then we board. 25 min by boat to arrive at the 1st site. The briefing on board is above all about safety. NB: no dive guide, we are left to ourselves with your buddy. It was planned that way but the briefing could have been more complete (eg diagrams of the reefs, list of species).
The diving is superb, shallow 5-10m, good visibility, great variety of species, lots of marine life, no pollution. 1 shark, huge group, lots of shy schools, beautiful gorgonians, lobster..
Boat well filled with snorkeling in addition to divers. Just water on board.
In conclusion: diving 5/5, organization 2/5.

Expérience correcte avec la sortie Reef 2 tank dive de l’après-midi. Check-in facile à 13h, rdv sur le quai à 2 min à pied. Là le capitaine vous équipe. Stab et bcd.
Point négatif: pas de combinaison et pas de chaussons. Même si la température de l’eau est de 28°, je commençais à avoir froid à la 2e plongée.
Puis on monte à bord. 25 min de bateau pour arriver sur le 1er site. Le briefing à bord est surtout accès sur le sécurité. Nb: pas de guide de plongée on est laissés à nous même avec votre binôme. C’était prévu ainsi mais le briefing aurait pu être plus complet (par ex schémas des récifs, liste des espèces).
La plongée est superbe, peu profonde 5-10 m, belle visibilité, grande variété d’espèces, beaucoup de vie marine, pas de pollution. 1 requin, énorme grouper, beaucoup de bancs peu farouches, belle gorgones, homard..
Bateau bien rempli avec des snorkeling en plus des plongeurs. Juste de l’eau à bord.
En conclusion: plongée 5/5, organisation 2/5. – via google

We had the most wonderful time diving with Southpoint Divers in Key West. Me and my boyfriend are both certified open water divers but it had been more than two years since our last dive. Southpoint took us through a refresher course — which was true enough refreshing as it brought back our energy and confidence in diving again. A big woot woot specially to our instructor, Melissa, who was such a bright ray of sunshine and whose knowledge, skills and experience run deep, no pun intended (and we got to drink with her too after!) Then in the afternoon, they took us to two dive spots out by the Gulf of Mexico. Visibility was great and we were able to see a great number of tropical fish like rainbow parrotfish, some squirrelfish, angel fish, and lush and colorful corals. We were hoping to see some manatees and sting rays but they didn’t come out that day. Overall, Southpoint gave us a great comeback to diving again. So much so that soon as the second dive was over, we wanted to book with them again for the next day! Unfortunately, their boat needed some repairs and they were not doing any chartered dives the following day. Instead, they so kindly referred us to another dive shop so we could go again. Southpoint Divers gave us an amazing experience that we will never forget. – via google
