Peter, Eddie and crew were excellent. Peter was super patient and an amazing teacher. He explained everything very well and set great expectations about every aspect of our trip. Kids had a great experience and we are grateful for an amazing experience. We would highly recommend Sharkys as the best scuba diving place in the area! – via

Embarking on my first diving adventure was thrilling. Initially struggling to find a guide for Penon, we discovered Peter at Sharky’s Diving School in Bayahibe.

Peter’s meticulous preparation and friendly approach eased our nerves. Under his guidance, we mastered the basics and felt confident as we approached Penon1.

With Peter’s reassuring voice, we plunged into a mesmerizing world of marine life. Encountering majestic turtles, graceful rays, and an array of beautiful fishes was a highlight of our dive, etched in memory forever.

Refreshed, we embarked on a second dive, exploring with abandon thanks to Peter’s expertise. His professionalism and warmth made our experience unforgettable.

We’re excited to return soon for certification, knowing we’ll be in good hands with Peter at Sharky’s. His dedication elevates every dive into an extraordinary odyssey, creating memories to cherish. – via

My fiancé and I went diving six times in three days. We also took our certification exam with them. They were very flexible, kind, and helpful. They arranged for us to take the PADI exam, even though it’s not their main focus anymore. Paula was the one with whom we took the open water exam, a wonderful woman who was very well-prepared, and we learned a lot from her. Later, we went diving with Peter, and every experience was fantastic.

I had a minor accident, and I had to see a doctor and visit a pharmacy. Peter helped us with everything in his free time, drove us around, and since we couldn’t pay with a card, he even lent us some cash. We didn’t ask for his help; he offered it and stayed with us until we sorted things out.

Captain Eddy took us to places we would have never seen without him. These three days (with 6 dives) were a life-changing experience. We learned a lot, saw many beautiful things, and met fantastic people. Thank you very much for everything. I hope we can dive together again! – via

If you want elite level diving experience, and the equivalent to a Buddhist monk to teach a new diver how to dive…than this is the place! As a female, in a foreign country, with minimal language fluency, safety was of the utmost in all aspects. No dive was repeated, and every excursion was properly curated! – via
