I was a client of the scuba centre for 7 weeks! Each week the organization I represented brought new students (age 15-17) from all over the world to the scuba centre to either complete their Open Water course or go on qualified dives. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, accommodating and fun! They managed & organized large groups (one week with up to 36 students) perfectly and made the overall experience for everyone such a memorable one. Thank you soo much for the hard work and making sure we have the best time ever in Sodwana Bay 🙂

Not the most welcoming reception at all. It’s like they don’t even want you there. Usually from past experiences the dive centers I went into the staff were all cheerful and happy to communicate and tell you what’s going on. Here they couldn’t care what you did to be honest so I am not impressed and won’t be spending my money as they don’t deserve it!

Rather try another Centre as I am sure they will be happy to have you!

I’ve seen your reply, and yes I know I have the right place. I come to Sodwana Bay Lodge every year and this if the first time I’ve seen the dive shop in a new location but the same people, but very disappointed. It was an older lady that spoke to me. – via google

I had the pleasure of completing my Open Water certification with Sodwana Bay Scuba Centre.

From the initial enquiry with Greg to the great patience and training by Mathew, they were truly five star.

I cannot recommend this dive school enough as they were professional, polite and helpful at every step of the way and true ambassadors to the industry.

If you get time, as well as partaking in the diving make sure you try the café on site and have a pain au chocolat, or the Club sandwich as they will not disappoint.

Did four dives with them (OW)

Positive:
– Our divemasters were all young and motivated to take us to the amazing reef of sodwana bay.
– equipment was well maintained
– skilled skippers

Negative:
– don’t expect them to be flexible in terms of the diving schedule. They did the dives every two hours from 8:30 to 12:30. So 3 dives on one day can get stressful. (Scheduling an afternoon dive has never been an issue with other diving schools around the world.)
– although it was a lot colder than normally in november we were not offered extra clothing besides our rented long wetsuits – via google
