I liked the feeling of the jump, that’s the one reason I give one of the 2 stars. The 2nd star is because I am eventually able to make this review.
I am very disappointed:
1. With Drew who jumped with me, as he didn’t try to make me feel comfortable. I was really nervous and thank god the one who jumped with my friend, made jokes with me and my anxiety was reduced. When the parachute opened, I needed a few seconds to take a breath, Drew was acting like I had done it before, no empathy at all. The landing was completely quiet, I was very frustrated by this.
2. The video and pictures were completely horrible. The videographer did not record my landing at all, just from very far distance. He also didn’t even capture a photo of me with the parachute. I’m very disappointed with my overall experience, I guess because of the people who happened to jump with me. I’m saying this because my friend had two amazing professionals jumping with her and her experience was unforgettable!
If you ever try this here, make sure to ask for Jin to jump with you.

Great place for skydiving. Today I had my second jump with them and it was awesome. This time I jumped with Chuck. He is super cool and expert. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name if the guy that I jumped with first time. But all of the instructors are really good. I will definitely go there more. – via

I flew with Skydive Carolina in 2011, and after I got on the ground I wanted to go right back up! It was the MOST EXHILARATING experience of my life! I loved it! Fast forward 11 years to this past Saturday for my daughter’s 18th birthday…we scheduled a trip to Piedmont Skydiving. It was awful. We waited almost 3 hours past our appointment time before we were even called up for gear. Then, we both experienced motion sickness to the point that she actually vomited. I felt like it started on the shoulder to shoulder packed plane, and then aggressive maneuvers back to the landing zone. Piedmont doesn’t give you the ugly, but incredibly functional cap that covers your ears like Skydive Carolina does. Believe me, you need that ear coverage! It was nothing like what I experienced on my first jump. I SO WISH I had booked our skydive with Skydive Carolina, and definitely won’t make that mistake again! Hopefully I can talk my daughter into doing it again! Skydive Carolina…definitely 5 stars, unlike the local competitor. – via
