NA Divers really want to help you find the right scuba gear for you. They were very helpful in getting us all set up with our gear. My wife and I got certified during the pandemic. NA Divers worked to get us our stuff quickly even with all the supply chain issues (he called around to see what he could make work out).
As far as training goes, they were great! My wife was a complete beginner in the water, while I am completely comfortable doing anything in the water (long distance swimming, lifeguard, etc). She was very hesitant at first, but they helped her ease her way into it. They were very supportive of her and worked at her pace. Anyone that’s willing to try will be able to finish the course. They don’t rush you through just to make more money – they make sure you are prepared to go diving and to enjoy the experience.
UPDATE: It has been 2 years since I made this post. My family has had a great time going diving on vacation and while visiting family in Florida. We have gone back to North American Divers for additional training. We brought our daughter (10 years old at the time) for scuba training and she had a wonderful experience! I’ve seen other young children (age 10+) take scuba classes and they are really good at working with kids. It’s always great to see a family take a scuba class together to get ready for their vacation.
I’ve taken a few more advanced scuba classes with NA Divers so that I can be more prepared and skilled to help my children when we go to Florida – and hopefully other fun vacations – and those were all great experiences that really helped me to be a better diver. – via

It was an awesome experience! We went mid November and honestly I really recommend it! We layered up and made sure to wear gloves but we got a fall discount and we didn’t get cold:) the employee’s are so kind!! I definitely recommend planning for a lot of time bc we just kinda hung out for an hour or two after the instruction before the jump. – via

My husband and I went skydiving today for our first time and had such a blast ✈️ ! Our Tandem buddies Matt and Katie were awesome! They were very knowledgeable and helped us both feel like we were safe and in good hands. When I booked our skydive I thought I was booking with Skydive Ogden. When we went to the Ogden Airport for our original appt and found out we were in the wrong place Skydive Utah was so kind to reschedule and not charge us anything extra for our mistake. I highly recommend the video photo package. We got the video photo add on for me but not for my hubby. I really wanted him to get it and am bummed he didn’t. Clansey did such an awesome job at capturing our experience. I love getting to relive it over and over again, especially because it goes by so quickly. I already want to go again! If you go I don’t think you’ll regret it. I sure don’t! – via

The weather couldn’t have been any better and the company couldn’t have been any more inviting. Chris did a great job as “the big spoon.” I’m so glad I chose to be a skydiver this year for Halloween. My favorite part was jumping out of the plane and free falling. Be sure to prepare for quick altitude changes that will result in unpleasant ear pressure once the parachute deploys. I love my certificate and thank you so much for spelling my name correctly! This was an overall great experience and I’m so glad I did it. – via
