Skydive Spaceland San Marcos is a skydive center in Texas and a member of the United States Parachute Association (USPA).
Skydive Spaceland San Marcos is open 7 days a week for first-timers, students working on their “A” licenses, and fun jumpers! Formerly operating as Skydive San Marcos since 1984 and as Skydive Spaceland San Marcos since September 2018, this skydiving operation is already the premier location for skydiving in Central Texas and it’s only going to get better! We’re convenient to San Marcos, Austin, and San Antonio on our (mostly) private airport. Walk-ins and spectators are welcome!
We also offer our exclusive Skydiver Training Program for those wishing to get their license to skydive solo (or with US [:)] )!

What a great experience!!! I recently had my first jump here and enjoyed every single second of it!! My original plan was to do it on 2/29, because that day only comes once every four years, but unfortunately weather had other ideas (I ended up doing it the next day). That morning, I got a call from the place warning me about the weather, and they were super nice and understanding and they told me I could still go over there and hang out in case the weather improved so I could take the opportunity. I ended up doing that and even though the weather that day did not improve, I was still able to get all the paperwork and training out of the way so when I went back in the next day I would already have that taken care of. Plus, the guy who was at the front desk that day (I never got his name but he was great) gave me and a couple other people who were also there a tour of the place which I thought was really cool. Unfortunately the weather did not get better that day but I was glad I got to get acquainted with the people there, and I ended up rescheduling for the next day.
The next day when I went to do my jump for real, I couldn’t have had a better experience. My instructor, Nikolas, made me feel super comfortable and safe, which is important if you’re jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. He made sure I understood everything I was supposed to do, when it was time to pull the parachute, etc etc. And my videographer, Yoshi, made a great video for me that I am so glad I have now to look back on. He also interviewed me at the beginning and I thought the interview turned out great. All in all, I had a wonderful first jump experience here and I would absolutely do it again 🙂 – via

I stayed a night at the DZ and I can say for sure it was a fantastic experience. Spaceland San Marcos has one of the best people I have met. All of them are welcoming and kind.
I was lucky to have two mentor Jumps with Sean from Newzealand. He was very patient and corrected many aspects of my jump which improved my second jumps in many ways! He knows what he is doing. I definitely recommend him as a mentor!
Other than him, It was amazing meeting Alisha, Danny, Chef (Juliano),Nova ,Maddy, Frog, AL, Faisal, Austin and so many more that I don’t remember the names of. I must say it is a fantastic crew.
I hope to go back and stay there for a longer time. I defintely recommend this DZ to whoever is in that area. – via

Went on the 2-hr snorkeling tour. Note that the start and end time will depend on your group’s prior snorkeling experience. I loved it; the visibility was incredible, and even though we were limited by where we could snorkel (fed protection), there were plenty of fish and turtles to see. Also: (1) If you bring anything extra that is permissible into the water (gopro, water shoes, etc.), the staff will need to dunk it for 20 min in chlorine. (2) Wear your shoes until you reach the shore where you enter the water, b/c the ants are MEAN. They’re not likely to be taken, but if you want to be cautious just bring cheap ones that keep you far away from those monsters! – via

I did my first jump this past weekend and it was legit the best experience of my life thus far. James was my instructor and he made me feel completely safe and had a great attitude. This was my 2nd tandem jump, the first was in Washington state, a good experience, but nothing like the one at Spaceland. The service, instruction, plane, etc. made you much more comfortable with the risk:-) We were there for my grandaughter’s 18th birthday and my son’s 40th birthday, so a fun and memorable experience overall. We all purchased the $99 jump and will be back! Best experience for sure and amazing place to do it. Thank you to all the staff, jump instructors, packers and pilot that made our day! – via
