Skydive South Texas is a skydive center in Texas and a member of the United States Parachute Association (USPA).
AKA “Mustang Island Skydiving”, we are the ONLY USPA group member DZ in the USA where the landing area can almost always be the beach! We are a “club” style DZ where everyone’s welcome. Check our website for upcoming events and dates/ hours of operation. C-License reqd for beach landings during summer & holidays, B for winter ops. (A-License jumpers may land at the airport any time.) Right on the edge of a happening tourist town: shopping, bars, restaurants, fishing charters, jetski rentals etc within a mile. Good surfing and amazing windsurfing/ kiteboarding. Swoops within 100ft of beachgoers or vehicles are strictly prohibited! No joke.

Skydiving is an insane experience. I would recommend this to anyone. I do get motion sick and while doing this I did get pretty sick. I would recommend taking some Dramamine or something or just be careful when you’re gliding because that’s what made me sick. But still super awesome!! – via
