My husband and I were booked in for a sunset sail. We waited at the dock for 1 hr with 4 other people, but no one from Explore showed up. We tried to call their number and there was no answer. We all called our hotels and they expressed that some of the cruises had been cancelled due to the impending cyclone weather. There were other people a few docks down that went on their BBQ cruise with explore that evening and the weather was beautiful. My husband and I and the 4 other people did not receive even a phone call or email to notify us of the cancellation. We were extremely disappointed. If they had to cancelled they could have even offered us to go on the BBQ cruise.
We called Explore the day after and spoke with a lady who advised that the operations team must have not notified us of the cancellation. She had no idea about the cancellation. We got a refund, but no call from the operations group responsible to apologise or compensate us for our wasted time and the disappointment. We do not recommend booking with this company. – via
