“Highly recommended NOT to choose Skydive Las Vegas. They cancel reservations at short notice without apology.”
I booked the skydiving 1 month in advance and paid the deposit.
It was nearly 9pm, I received a letter informing me that my reservation was canceled due to aircraft maintenance.
Does aircraft maintenance need to wait until so late to know and notify consumers?
No more explanation and not even an apology.
Even if I got a refund, I still wasted a lot of time for flying to the America and driving such a long distance to LV. – via

I wish I could give more stars but the 2 stars are for the lady that checked me in; she was kind. However, my original flight time was moved up by one hour (originally booked for 10am but moved to 9am) without my doing so and when I explained that I will be traveling from 4 hours away, they stated I needed to leave an extra hour earlier to arrive on time due to potential high temperatures causing turbulences. So, I left 5 hours early (around 3am PST) to take my tandem flight. When I arrived, I was checked in, I filed paperwork and submitted payment for a second time. I then waited for other clients to complete their paperwork. This took almost an hour. We then all sat for training. After training, the instructor brought me to the body weight chart and said I was not the appropriate weight/height ratio to take the flight. That is fine and I accept it. However, I think that could have been completed and verified via electronic forms or waivers prior to arriving. Nowhere on the forms did it ask for the weight/height ratio piece. It simply stated a woman needed to be less than 180lbs. I think these questions need to be more specific regardless of the information being on the website. I wasted 5 hours of traveling and additional time on paperwork and training just to be denied a flight, which I understand safety is first and foremost. Please make these weight proportion questions more specific on your forms and prior to payment so people do not waste their time and money. We are not professionals. If you can have so many scenarios to initial and sign on your forms, you can certainly include one on the body weight to height ratio. – via

First time skydive went off without a hitch. I gained some peace of mind by reading other reviews in advance. Everyone was friendly and professional. Sammy has tons of experience and orientation was very efficient. They also provided video and pictures of the whole thing. I’m glad I chose this place for my first jump! – via

Just so we’re clear at no point did I ever witness unsafe practices at this DZ or witness anything that would breach AFF or FAA regulations. It’s with a heavy heart that I leave. Such negative review for a skydiving center that I once loved greatly. As a business owner, I can say that the operator Sammy is unprofessional, and the way that he conducts business. He’s a very good instructor in terms of safety, but his facility leaves a lot to be desired. As a new skydiver and fun jumper, I relied on him to teach me I was constantly belittled, and made to feel less than. My time was not respected, and my efforts were not acknowledged. I would’ve been better off getting my certification in Paris, California, which is what I recommend if you’re trying to get your skydiving license. Any mistake I made was chastised in public instead of private. And to make matters worse At the end of it all the equipment that I paid for was held hostage because of personal differences. If you’re gonna do a tandem jump, I would recommend that you go to go jump. They’ve got a much better operation and you’re more likely to receive the customer service expected from a five-star business. I would not send my friends to Furiosity for Skydive training or for tandem jumps. – via

I just turned 75 and my daughter gifted me (she was there, also) with my first experience. I’m from Tennessee and we have tried 2 times before and weather interfered. I was very apprehensive, too say the least. Mauro and crew made me feel very safe and comfortable. They explained EVERYTHING in detail. While in the plane, Mauro reminded me when to do things I needed to do to get ready to jump. I can’t say enough about these guys. If you have any fears, qualms, hesitations, go talk with them. THANK YOU GUYS! – via Google

This place was a fantastic experience for a group of us getting our first time done! Mauro went up with two of us and was a great guy to do this with. He made the media packages worth purchasing and was fun to hang out with. I would do this again! – via Google
