Really terrible customer service. Be careful, the website SAYS they let you carry over your pass to the next year if: “Passholder experiences a debilitating injury/illness” but they don’t actually honor it. I tore my ACL and they refused to let me use my pass next year. – via

absolutely rude staff. Nobody has any idea what’s going on here. someone named bobby joe said that the housekeepers are “dumb as rocks” when i asked why my room was dirty. so why are they working there if you feel that way bobby joe? – via

A WARNING FOR TRIPLE PLAY HOLDERS…They really crackdown on sharing your triple play cards with friends and family. The scanners the lift workers use will pop up with your photo so if they see the photo isn’t a match, security will be called over and they will take away your triple play card permanently and then try to sell you a new one. I saw a woman who was using her son’s triple play card because he was sick and they took her triple play card and would not give it back. Her husband had a spat with the staff and they left. I saw them pulling people out of the lift line one after another since because a lot of people are doing it. I get that mountain creek feels the need to crackdown on this practice but I don’t know think this is the right way to do this. Those that had their triple plays confiscated are probably never coming back. I’ve been to plenty of other resorts and none of them check. A suggestion for management.., simply not allowing riders who are using another persons triple play onto a lift will be enough to incentivize most people to buy their own passes without creating hostility and a bad customer experience.

Otherwise the park has decent trails for New Jersey. The water park is nice as well as the alpine coasters. Added bonus for triple play and season pass holders is kids under 6 get a free season pass to the magic carpet area. – via
