Hajla is located on the very border of Montenegro and Kosovo. With its highest peak at 2403 meters above sea level, it is the highest mountain in the Montenegrin part of Prokletije. Hajla se nalazi na samoj granici Crne Gore i Kosova. Sa najvećim vrhom od 2403 mnv, ona je najviša planina crnogorskog dijela Prokletija. Njeni najviši vrhovi nižu se dugim grebenom u obliku nježno zaobljenog slova „S“, ispod kojeg se nalazi pojas planinskih livada, a još niže crnogorične i mješovite šume. Sjeverna strana ovog grebena pod najvišim vrhom Hajle je gola, stjenovita i vertikalna. Sa ovog grebena pogled se širi na Bjelasicu, Komove, Durmitor, Karanfile…

Rožaje je nekoliko decenija bilo jedan od značajnijih turističkih centara u Crnoj Gori i regiji. Od 1978. do 1983. godine formiran je turistički centar Turjak na kojem su se osim turističkih aktivnosti, održavala i savezna i republička takmičenja u skijanju.
