By far the best diving center in Samui if not in all Thailand. The entire staff is just amazing and very professional! From Artur the boss, to all the instructors, to Kobe sending you reminder messages, everyone is great. I initially came to do my PADI open water certification, did it, and because the team and diving spots were so great, I did my advanced open water certification as well. It is important to note that I did everything by myself and felt super at ease because everyone is so nice and make you feel comfortable. Special mention to Vanille my instructor, for her fun, professionalism and patience.
Stop looking around, this is where you have to book !

Attending the PADI Open Water Diver course with Silent Divers, specifically with instructor Eli, was an exceptional experience. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the course. Eli’s explanations were clear, and her approach was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We felt supported throughout the entire course. Während unseres Aufenthaltes auf Koh Samui haben ich und Tina online mit Anzahlung eine Tagestour zum Tauchplatz ” Sail Rock ” gebucht. Wir sind beide Aowd und haben uns diesen speziellen Tauchplatz ausgesucht.
Ich und Tina wurden am 30.01. um 07.00 vom Hotel abgeholt und in die Tauchschule gebracht. Dort wurden zuerst unsere Brevets kontrolliert und das restliche Geld für die Tour abkassiert!
Das Schnellboot war voll ausgebucht. Leider war beim Tauchplatz ” Sail Rock ” angeblich so schlechte Sicht, dass man sich entschieden hat Koh Tao anzufahren. Die Tauchgänge waren für Anfänger okay, aber nicht das was wir buchten!
Bei stürmischer See ging es retour zur Basis.
Essen und Getränke waren okay.
Die Crew war sehr bemüht.
Nach unserer Ankunft in der Basis hat es niemanden interessiert ob wir zufrieden waren, oder ob wir vielleicht in 1 – 2 Tagen es noch einmal zu ” Sail Rock ” versuchen wollten.
Hauptsache sie hatten ihr Geld und das Boot war voll!
So ein Geschäftsmodell haben wir noch nie erlebt! Eigentlich wollten wir gar keine Bewertung abgeben aber unsere Freunde und Bekannten aus unserem Tauch Club haben uns dazu geraten. – via

Definitely recommend Silent Divers!Amazing experience! I completed my Open water with these guys. Couldn’t fault anything. Extremely well run and professional services. All staff on boat very nice & helpful.Kobe (office) lovely & funny, Vanila (day 1 pool session) very professional a great teacher. I did both fun dives and an AOWD course and had a great time. Overall I did 3 daytrips and went to Sail Rock, HTMS Sattakut, White Rock and Twins.
I had Daniel as my instructor. He is extremely knowledgeable and calm while training underwater. He explains everything very thoroughly so that you really can’t miss any important information. On the boat he watches out for everyone and gets everyone in a good mood with his friendly and fun character.

The dives are extremely well planed. You get all the important info via WhatsApp (spoke to Kobe she’s great). You get picked up and dropped off at your hotel – always on time.
The trip and the dives are well managed: we always did two dives, the amazingly friendly and helpful boat crew as well as all the instructors organized everything and thus it was all hassle-free. Instructors have a maximum of four divers and really take care of every individual request. Lunch was great and there is unlimited complimentary drinks.

I highly recommend booking your dive trips with them. Thanks again to Daniel and all the crew!!! – via

Im very surprised about the recent Review from Tracy Stephenson because I had the best experience with the whole silent diver team & my dive teacher Craig .
I’m certified but didn’t dive for a while so I decided to do a refresher class to dive in Kho Tao.
Craig was my dive instructor & there was one other girl in my group who just finished her certification as an open water diver that day so it was her first dive in open water . Craig was so helpful to explain everything & answered all my questions already on the way there & made me feel very comfortable . Once in the water he took the other girl by the hand to calm her down because she had a little anxiety because it was her first time . It was so nice to watch how patient Craig handled everything & we all had a great dive all together & was a great experience . I saw a lot of colorful fish & beautiful corals . I had an amazing time & everybody from the crew was so sweet & helpful ! I did another dive at Sail Rock like a week after what was awesome ! Such a beautiful dive & so much incredible marine life ! Thank you everybody from your team ! Will be back this year & already so looking forward to ! – via

The arranged transport to the meeting point which was great and the drive was relatively quick from our hotel in Koi Somui. The follow up from the admin office when booking was excellent as the dive had to be changed to a different day and this was arranged without any problems. But on arrival at the starting point, it was extremely busy. we were all allocated our diving guide that would accompany us on the dive. Our guide Craig (who was not employed but called in to assist when busy) seemed ok when he explained our dive and the site and what to expect but thereafter i found him off hand, uncaring and quite bombastic and impatient. I don’t think he even took time to know our names. There were 4 of us assigned to him.
I had not dived for 4 years and was a bit nervous and wanted some reassurance but his comments were “you are an open water liscenced diver” The boat was very full and busy and after that comment I didn’t feel comfortable. My dive buddy and i did our own checks and assured each other.
Our first dive was ok… visibility was poor and loads of divers from different boats all dive at the same time around this relatively small rock/dive site, so it’s busy. Divers above and below you most of the time.
Lunch was ok. We had it on our laps in the boat where our gear was.
I had relaxed after the first dive, although hadn’t warmed to our guide. I would have happily swopped and gone with one of the other guides who seemed really nice and took time to chat to me about the dive. Obviously o didn’t want to make it uncomfortable for anyone so stuck with what he had.
The 2nd dive was fine and visibility was better and this time we saw quite a lot of fish and schools of barracuda.
One of the ladies diving with is us got a “panic” attack and had to surface. I did not see our guide take too much time to try to find out the problem or calm her down underwater. When I dived before I had seen our guide do this with someone and in a few seconds had reassured her and we continued with our dive. Our guide did not do this. He allowed her and her buddy to surface and we continued with our dive.
After the dive he didn’t really chat to us much about the dive and what we had seen which would have been nice. When we got back it was rushed and he spent no time with us helping us logging our dive. He was totally disinterested. I am in the service industry and believe that it’s all about the people….. people employed make the business and this is what makes people use the business and recommend it.
I would not recommend silent divers because of my experience with the guide. The people on board who assisted with us getting in and out the water and served the lunch were very helpful and happy.
Also they don’t tell you that it is 50 minute boat trip to get to the dive site. If it is rough this might not be something you want to do. The second dive is at the same site so you get out and have lunch on the boat and dive again. If it’s rough you could be in trouble if you get sea sick. They do over you pills beforehand.
Unfortunately I can’t say the same of my experience with Craig. – via
