Such a great day diving Silk Caye with Seahorse Dive Shop! Ruth was incredible with our more experienced divers and Andres and Tres were amazing with our Discover Scuba kids and their parents. Andres gave the kids confidence and made lifelong divers out of them! They were all so proud to be under the water and overjoyed to see so much sea life! – via

The team at this dive shop gave me one of the best experiences I have ever had! Right away, the guide made sure I had the right size fins, even changing from a slightly larger size to a set that fit perfectly. Then on the boat ride to the caye, my hat blew off, and while I was like, oh well, it’s gone, the captain turned the boat around the get my hat floating in the water! That was Unbelizeable.
The best part was my snorkel guide Mario, who was a wilderness EMT – he went above and beyond to ensure my safety. I was still recovering from a right upper arm fracture, and he helped me put on and take off my fins and my life jacket. He helped take care of me every step of the way. It meant so much! While we were snorkeling, Mario would point to different species of fish and come up and tell us the name of the species.. stop-light parrot fish, sergeant major, snapper, blue-headed ross, hogfish – he knew every species of fish! He even found the cutest sea cucumber before pointing out a nurse shark! After Silk Caye, we snorkeled with sharks, manta rays, and giant turtles; a giant turtle swam right toward me and Mario pulled me out of her way! Because of my arm, it was hard to self-maneuver. I never felt more safe and taken care of on a guided trip. Thank you, Mario!!!
My 70-year-old Mom also had a great dive, too where she saw lots of sharks, schools of fish, and her DM stayed with her the whole time, and helped her remove her gear in the water. Thanks so much to the team: Mario, Marvin, Captain John, and the deck hand who got my hat! – via
