I recently completed training/certification with Sea Hunt Scuba. Steve is an OUTSTANDING instructor, on the first day he evaluated me in the pool and he made adjustments to my gear to make it more streamlined and efficient. He didn’t just do the work and turned my gear over to me, he actually took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it and he SHOWED me what he was doing so that in the future I would be able to be self-sufficient and make adjustments to any new gear I may obtain. Steve wouldn’t move forward to teaching the next objective until he knew you understood the current objective he was teaching. Steve had determined that I needed additional training and I gladly extended my time training to focus on areas where I was deficient. In the long run his actions will have made me into a better diver.
Also, the shop will sell you what you need, they don’t try to up sale you. Sea Hunt Scuba has a good family like environment, I highly recommend them to fulfil your scuba needs. – via

My wife got me a gift certificate for SCUBA diving certification for Christmas at Sea Hunt. Curtis was very helpful with the whole process. I went to Sea Hunt to get geared up and Curtis once again was extremely helpful with the fitting of my mask, boots and fins. Chris was my instructor for the class. He was a great instructor! He was extremely helpful, patient and attentive. The training facilities at the shop are up to date and clean. The springs that we dove were so much fun with an abundance of fish, turtles and maybe, just maybe an alligator. I would highly recommend Sea Hunt Scuba in St Augustine for any of your diving needs. – via

Highly recommend. I had an awesome experience getting certified through Atlantic Scuba. When you meet Dave you will notice right away he has such a passion for diving and a love for spreading this hobby. As for the instructors, I met John who seems awesome, but Major was my instructor. He did an incredible job making sure I knew everything I needed and always making sure I was comfortable! A+ – via
