Such a shame, absolutely dis interested staff members. I have never seen such a worse service. Most of areas are covered with incompetent staff who have no traing on customer service.
The worse highlight was during the dinner service on March 21st at Sundesk restaurant. The staff were absolutely miserable and lacked any courteous towards family.
This place has gone downhill, such a shame as our visit to Moon Palace Cancun was opposite and absolutely amazing – via

Moon Palace Resort

I am shocked that this place is being marketed as a luxury resort. I have visited other properties under this brand in Cancun, and the experience at this location in Jamaica does not meet the expected standards.

Firstly, the staff members are disrespectful and poorly trained. I am uncertain about the circumstances within the establishment, but the staff appears to be disgruntled about something.

The attitude displayed towards customers is appalling, and the lack of attention to detail, especially considering the premium price, is unacceptable.

The staff urgently requires training in customer service, soft skills, time management, conflict resolution, and appropriate guest interaction.

I am deeply disappointed and have no intention of returning with my family. – via

My family, consisting of my wife and our two children aged 12 and 17, recently returned from a memorable week at Moon Palace Jamaica during Spring Break (3/9-3/16/2024). Our experience was fantastic; we thoroughly enjoyed the resort and its staff, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Nestled in the Cabana Tower, our walk-out room provided a lovely retreat.

We savored delicious meals at Momos and Gondola, and even the buffet exceeded our expectations. The dessert bar, wired lounge, and flow rider were particular hits with the kids. Despite part of the wired lounge being under remodeling, it didn’t deter their enjoyment—we were there to experience the outdoors and make memories, not sit indoors playing video games, something we could do at home. Additionally, we opted not to spend time at the pools since we have one at home, preferring to bask in the sun, build sandcastles, and snorkel along the beach.

While we encountered a couple of hiccups, such as a flight diversion to Kingston for refueling (due to airline delays) and discovering that snorkeling excursions were fully booked at the resort on our first day, our spirits weren’t dampened. Thanks to the gracious locals at the nearby public beach, we were treated to one of the best snorkeling experiences ever.

I must give a special shoutout to Puff and Tony, the locals who assisted us at the public beach. Initially apprehensive, we soon realized they were wonderful individuals. Spending time with them, we learned a great deal about Jamaica and its rich culture.

Having visited many Palace resorts in Mexico, we’ve found Jamaica to be our new favorite destination. While Mexico has its charms, our hearts are set on returning to Jamaica before considering another trip to Mexico. – via

Customer service is a priority here by the way staff interacts with the guests. Employees are well trained. Everyone is so nice. I gave four stars only because I did not have an iron and the phone didn’t work. Also the AC unit was not cool enough for me. Side note…I was at the North Tower.
I have already booked my vacation for next year. I was given a super duper deal. Can’t wait to go back! – via

I have found that jumping-off point for a limitless amount of fun, entertainment, and relaxation. As well as entertaining the thought that you can eat a pre-dinner dessert ??. It is on the way to dinner, why not?! Children have an amazing amount of activities that will please all ages. I can’t say enough about staff and the limitless smiles and have all situations covered. I could talk about my experience all day… the staff was AWESOME!!! Especially Justin at the front desk, Junior who personally took the time to sit and have a convo with me and my friend, the staff at MoMo and the Italian restaurant were great( ive attached a image) and the pool side attendants were great as well. Even though i was there on a busy weekend i still got great service from all staff from front desk to room service. This was definitely a great experience and i will come back for sure – via

I am currently staying at the Moon Palace in Jamaica and just visited the Italian Restaurant, Gondola. I was extremely satisfied with my service at the restaurant especially with Sherwain (our server) who treated us with the utmost respect. He really NEEDS a raise! He was very attentive to our needs. We never experienced this level of professionalism and kindness! We really hope that his manager will get to read this and take further actions to praise him. I am even more satisfied with the stay due to Sherwain! – via

NEVER DO A TIMESHARE “membership”! These people are not honest, it’s a waste of money. Moon Palace is ridiculously overpriced. Bahia Principles offers way more for half the price and they won’t scam you into a timeshare. Bahia has fun interactive games for the whole family or just adults (adults only area) where you can meet guest from all over the world. The standard room comes with jacuzzi tubs, unlike Moon Palace with only a small shower. Bahia has a bigger variety of food, its just so much better for way less than Moon Palace and their boring shows. Dnt waste your time with these POS RIP OFFS

Response: I have a membership that I was upgrading and resolving. But the old membership never got resolved with my $750 payment. I’ve been corresponding with membership representatives but they never honored the promise so I’m over it. We now favor another resort, family and friends enjoyed their first time stay in Jamaica with the another resort. – via

The service at the Resort has significantly fell off, I visited in August 2023 for 3 nights and the customer service,food,drinks and general experience was amazing. This prompted me to return in March 2024 for 4 nights. However this time the service was appalling,the staff is now very discourteous, the food and drinks quality has declined and we were bothered on 5 different occasions by different persons to purchase vacation timeshares. The reps throughout the hotels are very persistent and borderline forceful in selling vacation timeshares to the point it ruined the entire mood of the stay. Multiple times we were told the wait times at the Asian and Italian restaurants were over an hour but we stuck around at the door and we’re let in a few minutes later, it seems a ploy to get persons to go to the buffet instead of dining at the specialty restaurants. The entire vibe of the resort now seems like a selling point for timeshares. – via
