I recently got my open water certification and enriched air certification through Scuba Shack and just wanted to say how great the experience was. I have not been to this shop yet, full disclosure. I was diving with a buddy in jamestown with a new bcd and wetsuit and definitely didn’t bring enough wieght. The instructor from this shop told me to flood my wetsuit completely and gave me 8# of wieght so I could dive with my friend. Super helpful, very friendly, and very happy to help. Can’t wait untill I can get to the shop and thank them in person. 100% recommend. Great people. – via

I wish I could give this place ten stars. I’ve gotten certified, bought all my gear, and joined them for a couple of group trips. Every part of it has been fantastic. The classes and training truly prepared me for scuba and even to properly handle surprise mishaps underwater, despite being a new diver. The owners were able to walk me through all equipment and pricing options and I’ve found everything they told me during that process to be very true, both through my own positive experiences and through the difficulties I’ve seen other divers have when they didn’t have the proper gear. The group trips have been nothing short of incredible! Through them I received many hours of one-on-one instruction and advice from some of the most experienced divers and teachers one can find. So glad I found this place, very excited for more classes and trips with them soon. – via
