I booked the Tortuga package for my daughter and I (2 day 2-tank diving) and a fishing trip for the whole family including my wife and younger son. We stayed at Sandos Caracol
Prior to arrival I had all my questions answered by Riccardo. The first day of diving we did shallower afternoon dives to make sure my 12 year old daughter was ready for deeper morning dives. The guide and boat staff were great and the diving fun. On our morning dives we had a new guide and staff and they were equally helpful and professional. We saw lots of eels, lobsters, crabs, nurse shark, turtles, and plenty of fish.
The fishing trip started a little slow as we went about 90 mins trolling without a bite, but we eventually hooked up two barracuda including a really good sized one. We then did a little bottom fishing catching many smaller species. At the end we snorkeled for about 40 mins and saw some turtles along with plenty of fish. The fishing crew was great.
Overall all staff was helpful, friendly, and funny. I highly recommend this shop. – via google

Sandos Caracol is a beautiful location to find Scuba Libre right down on the beach. Their boats are waist deep in the water to take you on your underwater dreams. Ricarrdo was amazing to contact on WhatsApp and always responded promptly while we were organizing and scheduling our trip and plans. And Lea our Instructor for Advanced Open Water is such a kind and patient teacher. The area is perfect for all dives with the water being so clear and so much aquatic life in the reefs. Having the northern direction natural drift was amazing as it pushed us along as we enjoyed our dives!
Scuba Libre was great 5o deal with, very professional, punctual but always laid back and relaxed. It was a great atmosphere to learn under. Already planning our next winter stay and can’t wait to explore more reefs and wrecks with them soon! – via google

I just had 3 days of amazing dives with Scuba Libre, that I have been able to plan with the great advices of Riccardo before my trip. All the dives instructors and staff in Sandos Carocol were great, friendly and very professional. They all contributed
greatly to make these dives amazing and secure. I would especially recommand the very unique and beautiful Cenotes dives (with a very special thanks to Rigo!!), the awesome dives in Cozumel and the very impressive shark feeding dive.

Very unhappy. We booked (and paid) with them months ago for a deep dive but at the last moment they tried to force us to switch
to a shallow dive as we “hadn’t bene diving recently enough” Sorry but its not our fault COVID screwed over travel for the last few years so of course we haven’t been diving recently. But as experienced divers who have been certified for over 16 years you’d think this wouldn’t be an issue. No we are not interested in paying the same amount for a shallow 30ft dive that we are capable and will free dive on our own. Extremely poor service to do this a less than 2 weeks away as well. Instantly canceled our trip and went with one of the many more reasonable dive groups in the area. Stay away unless you’re ok with paying to shallow dive because someone arbitrarily decides you’re not good enough at the last moment. – via google

Thank you very much for the great experience – we had a really good time!

We’re unexperienced divers and for the first time in México but highly recommend Scuba Libre 🙂 The pre-dive instructions and information were clear and structured, everything was well organized and safe.

I hope we’ll come again some time to do a bull-shark and/or cenote dive.

My wife and I had an amazing experience at Scuba Libre! The equipment was in order, and the diving instructors were thorough, safe and brought a lot of positive energy to the dives.
I missed the first two out of three days of diving due to illness, but the dive shop had a great service in this regard – thank you.
