My daughter and I just completed our scuba certification with Scuba Fusion- great experience from the start. Helpful and friendly staff in the shop (Dex) and very knowledgeable and friendly instructors. We certified at Monterey which is not the easiest diving conditions for beginners but the whole team just exuded the type of calm experience that you need under those conditions. It was truly memorable and we are both excited to dive again soon ! Special thanks to James and Will. Highly recommended. – via

I am from North Texas, and was in Belmont for training in August. I was in this store after training on August 7th, looking to purchase spear fishing gear (new teak spear gun and bands for older smaller guns). While they didn’t offer guns, they were very, very friendly, and tried to help. I did purchase 2 dive float/buoy (one for spearfishing). They also had a very nice Aqua lung dive bag (sorry, just couldn’t purchase a bag without having something to put inside).
The only issue I had, is that they recommended a fellow dive store (Anderson’s scuba) for spearfishing gear, and it was over in Pacifica, Ca. It was an additional 45 minute drive (rush hour traffic) and a waste of time. That store wouldn’t even allow me to touch a speargun without an appointment, and their overall customer service was terrible.
However, my experience at Anderson’s is not your fault (we both learned from it).
