I recently stayed at the Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort and Spa, and it was pretty amazing! ?? The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The resort itself is beautiful, with lush gardens and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The spa was definitely a highlight, with a wide range of treatments to choose from. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt that some areas of the resort could use a little bit of updating. Overall, though, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely consider going back in the future! – via google

Overall it’s been a great stay. However, a warning to those who like/need a cool room temperature, our room has been uncomfortably warm the entire week we’ve been here. The thermostat is set as low as they’ll let you go. We asked the front desk if they could bring the temp down a few degrees but they said no. Several other guests have had the same complaint as well. Also, I got sick on day 4 of being here from something I ate/drank. Never a fun experience especially with several sleepless nights of being uncomfortable, hot, and nauseated.

With that being said, it’s a great resort. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, pools, beach and snorkeling is outstanding! My two kids have had a blast! I’d definitely consider returning again if the AC situation improves. – via google

Booked this hotel through a third party – Algotels – which was a terrible experience. We originally booked the hotel for 3 nights, but apparently between the hotel and Algotels, they double booked us and did not have capacity for us to stay after 1 night.
I understand there is an inherent risk when booking hotels through a third party, but I did not appreciate the lack of assistance the hotel provided me and my family when asked to find an alternate hotel by our checkout time at noon. Nobody at the front desk or concierge was eager to help, only to continue to remind us that we needed to vacate the room by 12pm.
Based on this service alone, there is no way I would give this resort a 5 star rating.
Fortunately, the Westin had an opening and we were able to finish our vacation there.

I would not return to this facility for this reason alone. High quality service is an expectation at 5 star resorts – El Presidente did not come through. – via google

Came here for our child’s 1st birthday. More of a parents “you did it” vacation. We stayed on the property for the four days we visited and had a blast. There are multiple snorkeling spots throughout, the views from the rooms are great with most having the ocean in them. A big shout out to Roberto and Carlos at the Restaurante Caribeño. They were fantastic and made our stay fun and relaxed. Don’t forget to stop at the Le Cap Beach Club for happy hour before going to the many delicious restaurants for dinner. Well worth the trip and can’t wait till next time when we can do some more exploring! – via google

My wife and I just returned from an 8 day trip to this wonderful resort. First and foremost do not stay here if you are not a diver or if you have high expectations for a luxury suite. If you love diving and great service this place is the one. The rooms could do with better mattresses and perhaps a microwave but over all it is a great place to stay. Our first dive two divers did not do a swim thru and got lost, our Dive master Daniel realized it immediately and took appropriate action. Our 6th dive a diver suffered a pulmonary edema and again Daniel handled it perfectly by the book as did Louis the boat captain. Sofia is great communicator for the resort. – via google

We just spent 6 days diving with Scuba Tony and it was a wonderful week! All of the staff are friendly, attentive, and extremely good at their jobs. We had 4 different dive masters – each as good as the next – who led us on fun dives while finding interesting marine life for us to see. There are 3 boats and each is run with maximum 6 customers. They took care of our equipment by storing it at the dock nightly and loading it back on the boat daily, and will change over the tanks for you in between dives. They also constantly refilled our water bottles between dives and provided fresh fruit and snacks between dives. I’d recommend this dive shop to anyone and will look forward to diving with them again in the future. – via google

We had 5 days with Miguel and Mago and they made it a perfect experience. My wife is an advanced diver, but it was my first time out and they couldn’t have done a better job. They take care of everything, put you at ease, and know just the right spots to see all kinds of sea life and underwater creatures. The smaller boat (6 divers max) means they can give you all the help you need. Don’t go with anyone else in Cozumel…stick with Scuba Tony. – via google

Went for two days of diving with ScubaTony. A refresher dive with Israel that was awesome! He reviewed buoyancy and hang signals and gear and anything else you needed to remember if it had been a while, and took us on two amazing dives around Paradise Reef. It was so good we came back for another two with Carmelo, where we saw more Eagle Rays, turtles, nurse sharks, BIG eels, lobsters, crab, everything! Drift diving was a blast and their gear is well taken care of. I felt confident that we were safe, using safe equipment, and in for an enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be using Scuba Tony again when I come back! – via google

Reasonable rates for weekly diving/room packages. Excellent dive staff and operation. Loved our room and we had an ocean view. Dive staff very helpful shuttling gear and loading it onto the boat, which I didn’t expect.
*Bring a lock for the dive lockers – I used my suitcase lock, which was fine. Also, you can borrow one from the dive shop if you forget.
Breakfast and lunch were included. Lunches were very tasty and large portions. Didn’t need much dinner.
One caveat – it was surprisingly difficult to get gluten-free carbs at breakfast. However, if I asked, I’m sure someone would’ve heated me a corn tortilla. Since I knew the lunches were going to be big, I didn’t stress over it. Ate some eggs and fruit. – via google

Wow! What an incredible experience here in Cozumel. Very accommodating staff especially the dive masters! My wife and I were recently scuba certified and explained this to the on-site dive shop and we had our own dive master with us every time we went out on a boat dive. If your new to scuba diving I really recommend this place. The island will also take USD no problem. Bring cash to tip and for cab fare but use your credit card to pay for meals, car rental or excursions. – via google
