Just completed the discovery dive with Scuba Birds, and can’t recommend them enough.
The discovery dive included a comprehensive briefing, shallow water practise and 2 dives. Amazing value for money compared to all other competitors. The session was really well structured, not overcrowded, places to relax on the boat and clear communication from all of the Scuba Bird team.
Big shout out to Vishal, who was our dive instructor, he was informative, engaging and encouraging. There was 2 of us and 1 instructor, which made the whole experience personal! Vishal even went out of his way to get some cool shots of us and passionately answered all our questions regarding marine life.

Highly recommend, the reviews speak for themselves. Don’t think twice … just book it !!! – via

Wonderful experience!! My instructor Nelly was very knowledgeable and understanding which made it so much more comfortable. It’s quite a bit of information to absorb, but once you apply the stuff you’ve learned with the guidance of a professional it all seems so doable! My class was just four people so you get to have personal feedback which was greatly appreciated. I left feeling confident in the skills I’ve learned and appreciative of the opportunities the open water course has given me 🙂 – via

I have just finished my Open Water with this center. As I really liked my course, I repeated the Advanced Open Water this time.

Regarding my instructor, I was lucky to have the delicious Damian. He is everything you would expect from a 5 star instructor. He knows his subject, he is a teacher, he knows when to be serious as well as when to give up, and the most important thing is that he cares about the success of his students. If I were a woman, I probably would have considered him to be my husband – He is that wonderful. – via

I did the Open water course, the first day I had problems with a small cold and snot. They were very kind and understanding and they relocated me 3 days later when I was better. Special mention to Nelly, our instructor, very professional and fun. It is a diving center with quite competitive prices, highly recommended. – via

Just completed the Open water diver 3-day beginners course: One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had so far.

During the dives I always felt save due to an excellent instructor of this diving center (Efim), who trained me and my team very well and showed us the amazing underwater world of Koh Tao.

Highly recommend it to anyone thinking about it, the prices are super fair compared to the competition as well! – via

We just completed the open water certification at scuba birds on Koh tao. Without any previous diving experience we learned a lot about the under water world and technicalities of diving during the short period of 2,5 days.
Although there was a little miscommunication around the booking itself the owner of the studio handled things for us last minute so we could start the class smoothly on the first day.
A special thanks to our instructor, Elena, who was very considerate, professional, provided clear instructions and showed us the best spots under water!

We had an excellent time getting our open water certification at Scuba birds. Our instructor, Dominik was super attentive to our group and was able to keep track of everyone. We also did two fun dives before we headed back to Koh Samui. Diving in Koh Tao was an amazing experience! Scuba birds made it even better! Prices were the most reasonable that I saw on the island.

Booking with the company was pretty easy and they were able to help us book our Lomprayah ferry tickets and transfer which made our lives easier.

I would recommend this diving company if you were thinking of scuba diving and getting certified 🙂 – via
