THE ROOMS: It’s 5 stars for us!! We stayed in the club level swim-up pool with outdoor bathtub ocean front… We have so far always stayed in the swim-ups… The outdoor patio has privacy curtains & lounge chairs with a table for our beverages…
The mini fridge is stocked daily with ANYTHING you request…. Turn down service every night. The room was very clean and the bed great too!
THE SERVICE: FIVE STARS!!!!! Every single employee went above and beyond!! Sonjay with intake “amazing” Stacy “amazing” as well, it was very nice of her to set up something special for us complementary. Every detail is top-notch. Everyone is smiling, friendly, and beyond helpful.
THE LOCATION: 5 Stars… For us we LOVED it… The drive is about an hour plus from the airport, but you get to see the island. Once you arrive!!!! You’ll thank yourself… Sandals provided transportation, Texroy was our driver (he was fun)! We stopped at a Jerk spot on the side of the road.. the chicken is a MUST!!!!! Sooooo good!
Upon arrival we were greeted we lovely smiles a nice cold hand towel and welcome drinks.. “The jump Start”
THE REOSRT:5 Stars… Is very large, very large you can not see or do eveything in 4 day 3 night trip… Stay as long as you can, you won’t want to leave.
Try to book your dinner reservations ASAP… They book fast. – via

This is the most beautiful Sandals resort we have visited. The foliage is amazing. The service here is impeccable and the people are super friendly. We have visited Sandals Royal Caribbean on two occasions because of its proximity to MBJ. Sandals South Coast is right up the with SRC. This resort is quieter and because of the size, it provides great exercise. The water sports, e.g., snorkeling and Big Mable tubing are directly on site. – via

FOOD POISONING on our 34th anniversary. We became sick the second day of vacation and bed ridden for the remaining four days. Restaurant 101- safety handle food, maintain at the proper temperature and always wash your hands. Apparently something went wrong with the basics. The resort would not acknowledge and requested a stool sample although we would not receive the results. Kinda funny that the patient would not receive only the resort. Upon checking out, the manager said all the correct corporate responses as reading from a script while handing us the bill for the medicine that we had to buy from the gift shop. I could understand if we developed the flu or COVID but we developed food poisoning which was a direct result of the resort’s action or lack of. Expensive 1 1/2 day for a vacation. Sandals does not see the need to refund us for the portion we were sick. – via

This was our 6th Sandals Resort visit. It was our third resort in Jamaica. While this resort location may not be for everyone as it is very private and isolated it was just what we needed this year. We can’t say enough great things about all of the people and the service. We really enjoy our sandals’ vacations they allow us to relax and do a reset. we have already planned our next trip back to Jamaica again. Thank you, Sandals, for being very consistent and always delivering a fabulous vacation! – via

Just got back from our honeymoon. Beachfront walk up room was very nice. Food was great, especially for an all inclusive resort. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Loved the cats that roam the property (probably for rodent control). Our room wasn’t exactly a beachfront walk up, more of a pool walk up with the beach right behind it. The resort likes to put alcohol in chocolates and ice cream, which is hard to deal with being in recovery for over 7 years. Wish I had a discount for not drinking booze the whole time ha. Bring towel clips to reserve your beach chair in the early morning, after 8 am most are taken/reserved. – via

We stayed in the Italian Village Dec 4-14 2022. Our room was the best room we’ve had. It was in the perfect location in the first building right by the Jerk Shack. We met the nicest staff while we were there. they went above and beyond what was expected. Visit Michelle in the Loyalty office to book your next trip. See Shandie at the Cafe de Paris for the best morning coffee. We had Shanda as our butler for our dinner on the beach. She was amazing since the weather didn’t really cooperate (rain which ended during dinner). Delion at the front desk/office was extremely helpful. Suzette is one of the Food & Service Managers and always had time to sit and answer our questions about working at Sandals and other Sandals locations.
Travis, Adam, Diago, Kemosabe, Myretta and all the entertainment staff are amazing. We had such a good time in the evenings with them. Kennedy at the beach always had a word of the day with us. Ledgister at the main bar had the best drinks. Natalie and Aleiae at the Redlane Spa helped me pick the best items for my skin.
We can’t wait until we visit again in 2024. – via

I do not recommend that you have Sandals make your flight reservations. They arranged for us to arrive at 6:30 pm when check in is at 3pm so you will lose most of your first day. Several others said the same thing and think Sandals does this on purpose. Make your own arrangements so this doesn’t happen to you. You would think they would make arrangements that get you there close to check in so you can get situated, unpack and check out the resort and plan your week. Everyone else in our party was there much earlier enjoying their day. Don’t trust the website on what the rooms look like and offer. Booked a Beachfront walkout room and when they took us to our room it was a basic plain room (not like the photos online which were much nicer) and when the staff opened the blinds there was a pool patio and people walking around our patio. No beach in site. We were told that we can walk to the beach and I said this is not what I booked. I was then told that what we reserved was not available until Friday which was a few days away. This was not the experience I expected. So, after arriving and checking in close to 7pm and then not accepting the room they tried to put us in, I accepted another room at 9:30pm which is still not a beach view or beachfront that I paid for, but we needed to eat and get unpacked as we were tired of dealing with it. This is our first and probably last Sandals vacation. You’re spending a lot of money to be there and this should not happen. There’s better options out there – via
