I came to Sandals Royal Barbados with the goal of completing my open water dive certification. Right from our very first conversation Instructor Ken was super accommodating to my schedule which was already starting to fill up with excursions and dinner reservations. Once we were in the water, Ken went above and beyond what I would expect any instructor to do and really made my vacation 5 stars. Thank you Ken and I hope to come back and dive again soon. – via

My review is for the sandals dive centre on the resort itself. I never made it to the boats, through my choice.
The purpose of my trip to Sandals in Barbados was specifically for diving.
I came knowing that may have to have a refresher, although it really would have not been necessary if the dive shop had attempted to ask the right questions. I am an advanced openwater with certification in drysuit and mixed gases with my own equipment and well over 200hrs of diving.
Unfortunately it never came to that. I could have easily lied and said that I had been diving in the last 6 months, however I decided honesty would be the best policy in this case.
The attendant at the desk of the dive shop was terribly rude and appeared dis-interested and unknowledgable when asked about about dive site information and details.
I finally spoke with Michael who was pleasant enough, but I felt asked the wrong questions. I had no intention to pay 140.00US for a “refresher”, and to waste hours of my 1 week vacation to go through the motions of subject matter that I was well versed in, especially after paying over $8,000 Tobe there in the first place.
So I lost a little confidence in who and where I would eventually been diving.
This is my personal experience and may not reflect the experience of others.

We came on holiday to Sandals Royal Barbados last week 4th-11th Mar 2020 . What a fantastic crew on the dive boat . There were always lots of help to kit up etc . The dive guides were brilliant . They even changed the dive sites one day to suit the qualifications of the divers on board ! This was very much appreciated by us . The wrecks were amazing , the other dive site Carlisle Bay marine reserve was AMAZING . Rays , turtles and sea horses ! Can not recommend this crew enough . We will be back – via

We came on holiday to Sandals Royal Barbados last week 4th-11th Mar 2020 . What a fantastic crew on the dive boat . There were always lots of help to kit up etc . The dive guides were brilliant . They even changed the dive sites one day to suit the qualifications of the divers on board ! This was very much appreciated by us . The wrecks were amazing , the other dive site Carlisle Bay marine reserve was AMAZING . Rays , turtles and sea horses ! Can not recommend this crew enough . We will be back – via

For something included in your resort costs excellent snorkel experience. Shipwrecks, fish and turtles, lots and lots of turtles! Great staff also, another reason to go to Sandals for us. – via

I recently went on a snuba excursion, and being a first timer, I was VERY nervous. Micheal was amazing. From the explanation of safety skills, to his patience and kindness during my first few anxiety ridden minutes under water, and finally his tour around the sunken ships. The captain and crew were fun, knowledgeable and very professional. Hands down the best experience! – via

A fitting extension of Sandals Resorts in Barbados. The sunset butler cruise left the dock at the right time to get twilight improved pictures of the western Barbados coastline. Captain Dave had plenty of information to share about the businesses and properties we passed; all while keeping the boat on plane and steady in some choppy waters. We may do this again next week! – via

A fitting extension of Sandals Resorts in Barbados. The sunset butler cruise left the dock at the right time to get twilight improved pictures of the western Barbados coastline. Captain Dave had plenty of information to share about the businesses and properties we passed; all while keeping the boat on plane and steady in some choppy waters.
