During our vacation trip in BC, I had the honour of meeting up with Gary (who is nicely talkative) for some dives at the mermaid cove near Saltery Bay. It turned out to be tremendous dives due to his own enthousiasm, his calm way of diving and off course also due to the awesome and vibrant waters themselves. There is lots of marine life activity and we had incredible visibility. At the end of the second dive, I only wanted to change over tanks and continue our underwater adventure. Unfortunately, we had no more time left.
Salish sea dive has proper well maintained gear, which was functioning superbly. Gary really knows the dive spot and surroundings as if it’s his own backyard. He navigates perfectly underwater, has a load of usefull tips and insights in diving technical theories and he knows the animals and marine life.
I certainly have enjoyed our divetrip and whenever I would come back to Power River, I’d for sure gear up with Gary again. – via

Would rate 10 stars if I could! I rented a few tanks for the weekend and was so glad to come here. Gary had my tanks ready to go and offered affordable rentals and refills. Plus he is super generous with tips, local site maps and stories. Will be coming back soon! – via
